Cake Rescue
Sue has been my Cake Rescuer more than I can count, starting almost 20 years ago. She has always been generous with her knowledge, especially around the extra help we needed making cakes in the tropics. Her shop has so much stock I always find what I need. I have moved away from Cairns, but I still shop with Sue, located next door to a post office. She had my parcel of goodies in the mail the same day. She is the hardest working small business owner I know and always goes the extra mile to help. My kids all learned baking in her school holiday programs, and I loved her classes when I wanted to learn a new skill in my cake journey. I can't recommend Cake Rescue enough. Supporting local businesses is so important. So whether you are at the beginning of your Cake making journey or an experienced baker, do yourself a favour and visit Cake Rescue. You won't be disappointed.

There’s an extensive range in store and if it’s not on the shelf, Sue will source it in record time, better than shopping online! Went in to cake rescue today with a last minute cake I had to prepare for tonight. I got so much helpful advice and managed to pull together a beautiful cake. Thank you so much for your time today. I will definitely be back again for my next project.

Sue really came to my rescue today after being beaten around the bush by an arrogant girl at jackleys bakehouse at a Mt Sheridan. I called Sue and she even waited for me even after 4pm closing time. Her shop has so many things and she has a wealth of knowledge about baking. She's very friendly and that will definitely be my go to place from now on wards. Sue even gave me her personal number if I got stuck with anything when baking. You're the best Sue. Thank you so much for today.
