When I first suggested getting a professional to take some family photos, my husband and daughters groaned. ‘Oh Mum that’s over the top’ moaned my 20 yo. ‘We could just get someone to take a phone pic’ her 22yo sister pleaded. I think my husband just thought it would be tedious. But I wanted quality photos from someone who knew what they were doing, with good lighting and focus; something that we would value for many years to come. I ended up organising it on my birthday, knowing the occasion would give me some leverage to get what I wanted! We just hung out together on a local beach for about an hour, while Stef did all the hard work. She made us feel very relaxed and we laughed a lot. My daughters said it reminded them of happy times on beach holidays with us. At the end of it everyone commented on how surprised they were that they actually enjoyed it. When we saw the pix, we were all blown away. It’s so easy to let life rush by. I’m so glad I ignored the initial objections and pushed through and booked the shoot. Stef has captured some wonderful moments of our family together that we will all cherish for the rest of our lives. Everyone agreed it was well worth the money and a little of our time to have something so special. I highly recommend Stef.
