First time eating here today, and WOW!!! I had a grilled pork banh mi and it was so good! I highly recommend this place - the food and atmosphere is awesome, and the staff are so accommodating and friendly.

This is where you can get affordable, authentic Vietnamese food that Hobart does not have. The meats from both dishes were well seasoned, balanced and smokey from grilling over charcoal. I just love all the textures from the banh mi, crispy on the outside, airy on the inside, loaded with meats and veggies, so delicious. The drinks they have on menu are exactly the same as what you can get in Vietnam, I recommend the peach tea. Love this shop, and I would definitely visit again when I'm in Hobart.

I’ve been a return customer to both the locations of this place in Hobart, and I’ve never been disappointed! In each item I’ve tried, the balance of textures and flavours has been spot on - the servings are also generous and very reasonably priced. Most notably, the grilled meats and the satay mushrooms are seasoned really well and are full of flavour.The vibrant atmosphere, friendly staff and consistently good quality of food feels really intentional and authentic.It makes me so glad as a Tassie foodie to see creative businesses like this thrive, we truly need more quality casual dining like this in the Hobart food scene!P.s. Having recently moved to Melbourne and visiting home here in Tas, I feel hopeful that places like this can help our foodie state reach its full potential. Keep it up! :)

Real value for money. Best for family. This is the only place in Hobart where you can get true Vietnamese food. All dishes are sensational, flavourful and smoky from grilling over charcoal. I particularly their Banh Mi, crispy texture, airy inside, and loaded with chargrilled pork. They bake their rolls in house everyday so it is not chewy like other places. Definitely best Banh Mi in Tasmania, if it is too debatable to say in Australia. Will come back.

We wanted to get the chefs specials but they were sold out! Still got the skewers, banh mi and the noodles. The pork was so good, smokey taste and flavorful. The skewers, which was chicken, was a bit on the saltier side but still pretty decent - I think the pork was a killer though.

To be honest, this was always going to be a thumbs up review. I know the food is good mainly because I had be a customer many times at local markets where there food van has been.If you want delicious food, authentic Vietnamese cuisine and great service then you have to try this place. These guys obviously care about their customers because I've never been let down either by taste or quality and those that I've talked to who have eaten there say the exact same thing.I could have gone the usual Bahm Mi roll but decided to treat myself and go for the Vietnamese Grilled Pork Salad Noodle Bowl. To compliment the whole Vietnamese experience I also went with the Vietnamese Iced Coffee, this drink always brings back my memories of my trip to Saigon. The total came to $23 and was completely filling. Being such a hot day that iced coffee really hit the spot.Do yourself a favour, if you enjoy Vietnamese food you have got to stop in here. If you come across them at one of the markets or festivals then definitely go up to them for some delicious street food.

Had the com tam Saigon (includes vietnamese meatloaf, yum!), grilled skewers and a mixed bahn mi (nem nuong and grilled pork).All the meats were so juicy, well seasoned and perfectly cooked.Great portions and priced well too.
