Stayed here over long weekend.. Lovely and quiet large site with concrete slab lots of shade as very hot and dry. Such a lovely lady looked after us.. Will be back to visit the Queensland Hotel too.. Thanks Donna and the friendly people of Laidley.

Great for day visitors. Fantastic for all the family. Shaded barbecue and seating area. Good boat ramp. Toilets.

Go here often. There is a nice walking/bike track around the lake. There are also, bbq areas, a park, toilets, showers and bins. Additionally, there is still water in the lake as at Nov 20. Lake managers are awesome, and ready to help if needed. Would recommend as a camping ground too, as the area is maintained well. It closes around 5pm, so make sure you go early.

Went today for afternoon tea as we drove in the sign said “Gates close at 6pm” then 5:20 rolled around and the lady said it’s time to leave the sign says “Lake closes at 5” we said the sign said 6 and she said no the sign says 5 if you looked, we pack up to leave and as driving off come to find a Hand written sign that now says 5 that definitely wasn’t there before and she took away the sign that said 6, we had to leave coz old love had a Christmas party, the “new” owners are nothing but rude & are liars at that.

Great place to stay. Clean amenities. Flat sites with slabs available. Boating and fishing activities available. Beautiful wildlife. Only 1 hour away from Brisbane. As of August 2022, roughly $32 per night, which includes power and water.

Lake Dyer Caravan & Camping Ground
We stayed a week at Lake Dyer. We initially chose it because of it's proximity to our son's home at Forest Hill, and because of his high recommendation.I'd like to make special mention of Donna, the park's Manager. She was so friendly and helpful during our stay, making us feel welcome and ensuring our every need was met. We would definitely stay again without hesitation.*Great location, gorgeous views across the lake.*Clean accessible amenities.*Family friendly.*Spacious Caravan parking area.Many thanks for everything Donna & Herb. Lovely place to stay. Caretaker Managers are lovely and very helpful. Highly recommend. If you obtain a SIPS permit you can even fish in the lake. Very relaxing.

A beautiful peaceful place to relax, sadly the amenities are not up to standard. We were there for 8 nights and in that time the toilets weren’t cleaned. I don’t know if it’s the Council’s responsibility or the Caretakers, but with Covid, someone should be cleaning them.
