A brilliant day out for the family. Get in early so that the friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff can really help you make the most of your day. Special thanks to Ranger Maddie for taking such good care of our group.

The staff were super friendly! It was an amazing experience, we got to see some beautifully looked after animals. We went over 2 days, doing the 1pm - 4pm experiences the first day and the 9am-12pm experiences the next day. Love the roaming rangers and the feedings. Every single staff member and volunteer made us feel super welcome and went above and beyond when it came to photos. Very clean, and a great little gem! Plus there's also a croc free pool to cool down in, although we didn't get a chance to take a dip.

Absolutely fantastic! Plenty of enclosures to see in between the many different demonstrations. We had the distinct pleasure of learning about crocodiles from Adam, who clearly knows his stuff and loves those animals passionately. We will certainly be back for another visit!

Very nice sanctuary where you get to see uniquely Australian animals. It was obvious the animals were well cared for.

Absolutely loved the bird show, was the best, my favourite part of the whole day. Also saw some other beautiful wildlife, a gorgeous tree kangaroo and a dingo, emus, koalas and the biggest captive crocodile in Queensland and beautiful black Cockatoos which are my absolute favourite birds. I couldn’t be happier about it, was a nice place to visit while in Townsville. Great experience :)

The 5m Krakatoa croc is really impressive. Overall an interesting trip out although you might wanna get in early as it gets really hot by midday. Also tickets are a bit expensive particularly if you go in a big family group.

The park is very well maintained and easy to walk, and I was able to see the animals up close.I would like to visit again in a different season. If possible, I thought it would be nice to go by bus from Townsville.

Took a friend from out-of-state here recently and while he did enjoy the experience, I must say Billabong is a shadow of its former self. No longer are there dozens of roos and wallabies roaming freely to pat and hand feed, greatly reduced numbers of animals to interact with, one lonesome dingo (the dingo 'show' was pathetic), less staff around the place to interact with and a price of entry that doesn't reflect the experience you'd expect (somewhere around $50 per single adult). For a Saturday afternoon in prime Townsville weather there was noticeably fewer people than 5 or 10 years ago. Somebody inject some life into this place!
