While you're in Myrtleford, take a few minutes to visit this 200+ y.o. Red Gum tree situated in a serene, pretty street.

Parked in town, lovely stroll to take in the sights and read about the history of the landmark. Impressive bit of flora!

I mean, it's big. You can't deny that it's big. Is it the biggest? No.It did have a bird on it, which was nice.A koala would be a nice addition.

We came here to find one of Australia's Big Things - the big smoke. And instead, we found the big tree. Interesting to note how old it is and that it was a marking spot for the railway. Myrtleford is a pretty town and very clean too. We enjoyed our short visit here.

Yes, its a big tree that is over 200 years old! But check out the stunning home garden opposite. Beautifully tended gardens around the lovely home that is in the picture perfect, clean and very tidy town of Myrtleford - which itself is a real gem. Lovely public spaces to enjoy. Highly recommend a visit.
