I cannot recommend Paddington Real Estate enough. We have rented from them for close to 2 years and have been renting in Brisbane for 7 years. Paddington Real Estate are so professional and friendly it has been a pleasure to have them as our agency. Sue is our property manager and she is great to deal with. If you are considering doing business with these guys - go for it!

From the start they were inflexible and chaotic. They seemed like nice people and were always friendly in-person. However, the lease agreements were always needing corrections and never specified the date when rent is due, which is a legal requirement. I have asked multiple times, got no response via email except to check the rental agreement. When I call, they often get my name and details incorrect and one occasion shared confidential information about another person despite them calling me and me clearly stating my name at the beginning of the call. When changing lease and changing roommates, they expected total strangers to transfer the bond to each other instead of doing their job. When trying to break a lease, they sent me a document (included) that I have never been given before stating that I would personally handle the advertising, open houses, private inspections and applications of total strangers. I have been renting from them for 2 years now solely because I loved the property. I will never rent with them again.

When we moved to Brisbane we didn't know one suburb. Sue took us through everything and helped so much. Having rented through paddington real estate for 4 1/2 years I can only say we were so lucky to be with them. Their communication and professionalism has been amazing. We've bought now so are sorry to leave them. I have rented through Paddington Real estate for coming up two years now. Having dealt with different agents over the past 11 years, this team comes out on top of them all. As a renter, I would be happy to either rent through this agency if we find ourselves in the rental market again, or to engage them to manage a rental property. There were a couple of issues with household appliances in the house we rented and they managed, and we felt the issues were acted on promptly. We ended up in the position of having to break our lease due to a house purchase. We found that we were fairly dealt with and the property manager (Sue) we dealt with was helpful.

I have been renting through Paddington Real Estate for newly 3 years, and they have just been the most amazing crew!! Sue is outstanding, caring, responsive and very attentive. They have always treated me so well and attended to any concerns and issues I had with urgency. I had to break my lease early due to relocating and they were very accommodating and were super quick to start advertising to ensure a smooth lease break.
