Amazing! The food was made with love, great produce, reasonably priced with staff who go above and beyond. The best dining experience we have had in a long time. The confit duck was outstanding.

Waited for 40 min for food, when asked was informed that for a pizza the minimum wait is 30 min. This was not mentioned anywhere or when ordering. No apologies given. Greek salad was a green leafy salad with half a dozen of cherry tomatoes, no cucumbers, no onion. They got the order wrong and brought falafel instead of chicken. Average food, not worth the money. Wouldn’t recommend and will not come again.

Hubby and I popped in here for a quick dinner on our recent weekend away. Happy Hour was between 5 -6 pm, so we went in around 5 pm for a drink first. Sadly, none of our drinks (2 wines and 1 cider) had the Happy Hour price, when we went to pay. Not sure why. Service was a little weird; the owner (?) seemed friendly, but the other waitress was a bit abrupt, and hard to understand. (Hubby said he didn’t mind.) Dinner for me was duck salad, while he went for gnocchi with wild mushrooms. My salad had lots of green leaves, and lots of duck meat, with a nicely crispy skin, and a zingy plum and ginger sauce. The duck was a wee bit dried out I thought, and I would have preferred less leaves, and perhaps a salad veg or two. But that’s just me; not being a huge fan of green leaves. Hubby loved his gnocchi, though we both felt the serving could have been a bit more generous. (He ended up eating most of my leaves.) We both enjoyed the bowl of chips that we ordered with the mains.We shared a dessert of Spanish doughnuts, which was a generous serve – 3 pieces each – with a chocolate and a caramel dipping sauce. They were light and airy with a crunchy sugary coating. And the sauces were a delight to dip into. We liked the atmosphere; you can sit in the lounge area, or at the tables, or outside. There is a bookshelf with books and games for the kids. And plenty of room around the tables so you don’t feel other diners are listening in to your conversation. Or you can just perch on a stool, and have a drink if that’s your fancy. This is a place we would happily visit again when next in Murwillumbah.

Great place to dine in, lovely indoor atmosphere, plenty of seating, staff is very nice, though service can be improved. Meal is tasty and well presented.

where should I start.This place doesnt even deserve 1 star.Waited more than 50mins to eat garbage.The burger patty was burnt, scallops in the pasta was off, the pizza dough was as hard as rock. Not a single dish was edibleWe will be glad to not have food poisoning.very very disappointed.
