My boys (8 & 12) and I had the most wonderful experience taking a tour of Raptor Refuge and seeing the amazing work of Craig and his team. They ensure all the wonderful winged friends in their care are comfortable and relaxed. We got to meet many new species of raptor and understand each birds unique story of how they came to be residents of Raptor Refuge. The work done here is incredible and helped us gain a better understanding of the impact humans have on these amazing creatures.Definitely recommend visiting.

Definitely a stand out experience during our stay in Tasmania. You can tell each and every one of these magnificent birds are lovingly cared for. The grounds and enclosures are very well kept. Such a special energy about the place as well. Our guide was wonderful - so welcoming and knowledgeable. I highly recommend a private tour to Raptor Refuge to any nature lover. Thank you so much for our memorable visit.

Amazing experience learning about all the work going into reducing injury risks for these amazing birds. Our guide, Celia was very knowledgeable and gave a backstory to all the birds we met today. It was also sad but funny to see Witchy the wedge-tail eagle’s antics. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic time during our tour. Many of the birds we have seen from afar, but it was a once in a lifetime experience getting to be so close to them and learning about them by such knowledgeable carers. All in all, it was a magical way to spend our morning, and wonderful to know that in doing so, we were helping to support such worthy work. The tawny frogmouths were exquisite and the wedgies majestic and fine!

An amazing experience, to see these amazing birds up close, see details that you just don't in the wild, and learn a bit more about them. The Raptor Refuge is also doing great work with rehabilitation and release of injured birds. Seriously, this is not to be missed.

Loved the tour by Juliet. She shared with us the history of the Refuge and background of their resident raptors. They were all so beautiful and looked well cared for. The enclosures they were in were nice too. Would highly recommend visiting and learning more about their work and what we can do to protect these lovely birds.P.s. the Refuge is very close to the Bruny island ferry
