Heartwarming and helpful old couple at the beautifully decorated shack. It is a good place to go for a first hand experience of fishing. Learning some basics would be good before going but the owner will always be there to help out.

they still operate as a rainbow trout farm selling fingerlings. while the fishing experience, cafe and other features have closed, the older couple and their son are still around and are as helpful as previous reports suggested, and full of stories (i had no idea so many people have tried to steal their fish)

We had a great day out fishing at the Tooperang Rainbow Trout Farm, it was a few years back now and the site is showing that it is perminatley closed and if so I am really sorry for everybody's loss. As we were traveling around Australia the kgs of fish we caught at the time was a great little addition to the freezer.

I phoned and arranged a time to come up in a couple of hours. Came up and nobody is home and phone is ringing out. Pretty disappointed. Now drive all the way back with nothing!!
