DOLPHIN HOLIDAY ACCOMMODATION

We stayed in the AAA Coke Shack on the weekend, this property has wonderful potential. It was very bright and open and so close to all shops and the dog walking beach which is what we requested.(NO WATER VIEW) which was mentioned in the advertisement, however a nice courtyard. No hammocks as advertised.The property does require maintenance though with lights out and an unusable rusty BBQ and some utensils unusable and broken.. They do allow dogs which is a bonus, however if you have a toy breed be mindful that there are gaps in the fence that the dog can escape from, however Dolphin were so accommodating for this and allowed us to keep our furry friends inside in this instance. There are issues with doors not locking therefore your valuables are not entirely safe. I will add that the Queen size bed was as hard as a rock and the blinds in the bedroom were so dusty I was sneezing a lot when in the bedroom.I will add that the staff are very accommodating, there is no heating or air con in this unit and heating was offered straight away as it was a cold weekend. Emails are always answered quickly and professionally, it was easy to book with Dolphin Accommodation and I would not hesitate to book with them again in the future.

Dolphin offer a loyalty program that gains you a great discount, plus the team are as friendly and relaxed as the island its self. They couldn't make you feel more welcome without you becoming a local. And trust me you will want too.Great selection of holiday homes with prices to suit nearly any budget. (I am a broke uni student, 6 of my friends and i had a wonderful budget get way with them.)And the helpful guides to the islands attractions, nature walks and local restaurants and shops was a big help.Cant wait for the mid year break to go back :)

Terrible experience. Booked for 1 night for my wife's Bday. There was an initial miscommunication about the keys and had to wait for somebody to bring it to us (Key was not left in lock box for us). When we arrive at Beach Shack 24 we discover the shack was left open with the keys inside. At that point we were not unhappy until we started noticing the cleanliness of the place. The floor had not been swept or mopped. Kitchen counter had crumbs on it. Coffee table dirty but the worst was the dining table, which had food and grease still on it. The BBQ, which was one of the main reasons we booked the shack was filthy and greasy. Out door areas not swept and outdoor dining table was dirty as well. Also Fridge had crumbs and generally dirty, and Microwave was greasy. Did not attach pictures of floor and dining table because the dirt would not show due to the fact that they were wood. We brought everything to their attention and first thing they asked is if we had stayed with them before (would that make a difference knowing if we were repeat customers? Would they have done anything different if we were?) They offered us a discount on our next stay with them, which is absolutely absurd because they should fix the problem we had, and not worry about making money for them in the future. We were expecting a partial refund, which they did not offer and that is the reason why I am writing this review. Plus the funny part is that they have a whole list of rules you have to follow when checking out in regards to cleaning(not mentioned when you book). Some of them include: sweeping and or vacuming the floors. Take linen off bed and put in laundry bag, clean bbq etc. etc. Can't believe I spent 300 dollars and am expected to do my own cleaning, I would have stayed home and cleaned my house for free. STAY AWAY from this company!!!!!!

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday on Stradbroke Island. We booked our rental property with Dolphin Holiday Accommodation and couldn't have been happier with the service. All the office staff, and in particular Eva, quickly responding to our queries and last minute requests. Importantly, during the uncertainty of the recent Queensland COVID restrictions, Dolphin Accommodation provided us with prompt and correct information which ensured that all our family were able to depart Stradbroke Island without difficulty. Stradbroke Island is very beautiful and we would love to return. If so, I will be again booking our rental property through Dolphin Accommodation, a fabulous service.

Stay here if you crave having your deposits stolen from you and your stay cancelled same day.Hope the people that work here find a less dehumanising and humiliating position to place themselves at in society.And I regret to inform management that I will be lowering my star rating after our phone call.

We have been booking our family holidays through Dolphin Holiday accommodation for more than 20 years and have always been very happy with their friendly and helpful service. Awesome accomadation and facilities. 1/5 for quality in terms bedding and linen, our bed covers had not been washed! They had crusted stains on them. We were provided with fresh white linen sheets but none of the bed duvet covers and pillows covers look to have been washed in a long time.
