Kingscliff Paradiso Resort
We had high hopes when booked the night stay at Paradiso Kingscliff for it's convenience, location, and services around the place. Our stay turned to nightmare on arrival.The unit they put us was on ground level. For some reason, the floor was heated (literally). It went over 32 degrees in the room during night time.The unit was also infested with cockroaches. We kept killing over 20 a night. Due to this, we could not leave any food on benches, kitchen, cabinet, tables, etc. These roaches managed to get inside dishwasher as well.It was a regretable stay.

The room was dirty. Lounge full of biscuits crumbs and dog hair. TV didn't work . Dyer didn't work same as the radio. Cockroach and dead insects everywhere. Air conditioning stop n started. The patio was full of dirt.

Literally the only good thing about this place is the position. The reception have absolutely no idea especially one female member. Reception tried to make me pay in full again after I had paid in advance then repeatedly said I hadn’t paid when I did. Was only when I produced a receipt from Expedia and they checked with the manager. Asked if possible to check in early they said not possible even by 30 minutes. They even said it won’t be ready until after 2pm. They simply have no I’d about any form of customer service. The appartments are old and need to be refurb. Stains on the couches, wardrobe doors don’t open, the stove top didn’t work. Overall it’s negative experience and I would avoid if possible.

Have to be a Karen on this one..The apartment was very grubby mainly outside, we were there for 3 days & the spa was not serviced at all in that time which was gross.Broken outdoor furniture & the aircon leaked over the lounge.The plus was it's great location & views of the ocean.

Kingscliff Paradiso Resort
Rooms appeared nice and clean however on closer inspection the rooms cleaning was sub standard, with toe nail clippings on our couch side table and dry urine drops on the toilet seat! Location however is excellent and close to all the shops and restaurants. Cleaner training needs review and standards significantly raised.

Fantastic location but unfortunately that's the only real positive.Our allocated room was extremely rundown and dirty, with an overpowering smell of must. There was a build up of hair in the bathroom sinks and drains. Significantly stained lounges and cushions. We found a used tooth brush in the bathroom and left over food from a previous guest in the cupboard. The bins, had food scraps stuck to the exerior and lids. Each and every wall is heavily scuffed with lots of dirty marks. Not to mention the live cockroaches.Given the amount of grime present, I do question if and when this room was actually given a proper clean?The issues were reported to reception shortly after check-in and whilst very apologetic, the solution offered was to send someone up to remove the stained cushions, toothbrush and some of the hair from the drains.Slight improvement, however the overall cleanliness and state of our room is very disappointing. We will not be staying again nor recommending.Note - Booking was made in my married name - Room 222.Reception staff were made aware of these issues and will be able to confirm.

Kingscliff Paradiso Resort
Stayed with an elderly relative with some mobility issues. A few steps to negotiate but worth it for the location. Yes the building is dated but this just means rooms are spacious compared to modern builds. Yes some initial cleaning concerns but apologetic reception staff soon rectified and I fully appreciate businesses difficulties with finding experienced staff.

Kingscliff Paradiso Resort
Only stayed a couple of nights, but clean and easy to get to. Comfortable rooms and lots of living space. Furniture was a little tired and at the time we couldn't use the gym, which was very small (room for 2 people to exercise) as there was always at least one person using it and due to Covid that meant it was considered full. Pool was great for the kids.

Good value apartment and central location across from main beach, restaurants and shops. Warm pool. Good laundry facilities in apartment.Was disappointed with lack of cleanliness of apartment (dusty inside and dirty appliance and dirty balcony). Different apartments have different furniture/decor so depends on which one you get. We had a top floor apartment which backed onto the road behind. Early morning traffic noise heard daily. Inside of apartment needs a fresh coat of paint.Private rooftop was a nice but could have been cleaner, stair railing broken at wall.Could easily be a 5, just needs better internal maintenance.

Kingscliff Paradiso Resort
My favourite feature of this stay was the location. Everything else was average.The 3 bedroom room had plenty of space but make sure you bring entertainment. The television / foxtel did not work with most of the remotes in the room not having batteries inside. One fan in one of the rooms is hanging onto its final screw ready to drop if you turn it up on fast spin. The bathroom did not have active fans which makes it more humid after the shower than the 30 degree weather. One drop light was hanging out of the roof while another strobes on and off.This resort is a beautiful space and just needs some work in the Maintence and upkeep.
