I've been going here for a few years and I keep going back. Helen and her son are lovely and always friendly. This is the cheapest place to get your hair cut in this area and for the price you pay I've always been happy with the cut. I'm a guy with a short back and sides style and they always do a great job.

My sister went to get her hair cut and it was terrible. It was a simple haircut but they managed to cut one side shorter than the other. They didn't listen to what she wanted and had to cut her hair three times and ended up cutting it too short. Not recommended!!!!

Good Family Business.They provide smart haircuts for an excellent price!The building looks lovely and it's nicely chill inside.The guy (son) doesn't talk much, which is okay to me - as I don't like when I feel like I have to talk whilst at the barber.I have two little points of criticism:1. please keep it more clean. The equipment was partly covered with other peoples' hair.2. please don't speak in Filipino when customers are around, who obviously don't speak the language. It makes me feel uncomfortable.Otherwise I enjoyed my stay here. Keep it up

Hair by Helen is a small place that you can't really see in the streets but it has such a friendly staff who are very knowledgeable about hair and colour at a good price. The place could use some sprucing up but if you want people that care for your hair, it's definitely this place.

Hair cut was always a problem for me but with Helen it has been a joy.She is not just a barber but a good friend with whom you would love to spend tome with..and your hair cut is done while you are busy in talking with Helen.
