Macintosh Island Park
A quiet park at the rear of Main Beach. Plenty of picnic areas with barbecues. Green space with shade trees & walking paths. Also a still water creek with a bridge. Lovely spot to get away from the hustle of Surfers

I simply loved this place. The highlight for me was getting an opportunity to feed the birds and interact with them!There are quite a variety of birds, including peacocks, water birds, and of course, pigeons whom you could feed out of your hand!The beach is a stones throw away, which you can reach by simply crossing the bridge. Lovely place to visit with family and friends.Free parking is available on site.

Amazing little park amongst all the action. It is full of birds of all different kinds. The first park I saw the peacocks walking around!

Beautifully landscaped park with freely roaming peacocks and some interesting water birds. We only stopped by to see the peacocks and it was drizzling so couldn't enjoy the park more unfortunately. But would be a fantastic spot for a picnic one day.

This park is so tranquil and peaceful. We visited on an extremely hot day but it was a few degrees cooler because of all the big shady trees. All the birds are so beautiful and we saw a number of peacocks. Easy access, plenty of parking and disability access also. Very tidy and well maintained park. And great playgrounds for kids. Big foots cave is pretty cool too

Macintosh Island Park
Macintosh Island Park is a wonderful oasis of a park close to Main Beach, Narrowneck and Surfers Paradise. With plenty of shade amongst the trees, there is a lake, plenty of birdlife (such as peacocks), a play area, picnic tables, all in a peaceful and tranquil location just a short walk from the hustle and bustle of Main Beach and Surfers Paradise. A wonderful place to escape the crowds for an hour or two.
