Albert Park Motor Inn

As a travel agent I have to advise you do not book with this hotel. They have a terrible refund/exchange policy where you are not even given 24 hours to cancel a booking. Was told by the concierge “they didn’t have time to assist us.” How do you not have a few minutes to send a simple email?

No breakfast or ANY dining on site or nearby, and no smile or welcome at check in made a bad initial impression. Google and other web materials need to be updated to reflect the current reality here. Read recent reviews and set your expectations accordingly!Very basic, pretty tired motel but with comfy clean bed, quiet & effective air con, and a good shower. Renovations and some investment seems to.be underway. Found room staff very friendly & helpful.Good location for surrounding attractiions, but still recommend having a car - rentals from the nearby airport - as the supermarket & restaurants are not as close as they seem when its hot, or wet!

STAY AWAY ...We booked an accessible room that WAS NOT at all...The room was full of spiders, roaches and other creepy crawlies. No one to provide assistance with finding us an accessible room.We had to leave and find accommodation elsewhere, cutting our stay in Longreach short. Management will not discuss any kind of refund or accept responsibility for providing us with a room that wasn't accessible.I don't make bookings without triple checking my needs, here I was assured my needs would be met.The only way to reach Management is via email and they have chosen to ignore my correspondence.

The room I stayed in was absolutely disgusting cobwebs, several spiders and even cockroaches all around the room. Bugs all over sheets and stains on pillows, only thing decent was the aircon. Overall, spend more money to have a better experience. I don’t recommend staying here.

Rooms are clean and lovely. Very accessible with after hours codes. Restaurant is fantastic stayed open late for us on the way down and back up. Also did an early breakfast for us. Was beautiful! Would definitely go again.

Good value for money with a swimming pool and restaurant onsite. Parking was good with room for my trailer. Room was renovated and had a good size TV.

DO NO STAY AT THIS HORRIBLE PLACE!!! We stayed here while in Long Reach and what a terrible decision!! We were not prepared to eat with ants everywhere, sleep with cockroaches on our bed sheet, packing while mouse running across the room. The service is beyond disappointing and we will never come back! What a shame when we enjoyed the local community but this place just disgusting!! Do not even deserve a star review!

Buffet dinner was very good, a variety of choices.. good service by professional and friendly staff

We walked in explained what we needed as we had a trailer nothing was a hassle. Explained where we could park and it was visible from our room. Comfortable beds and the shower was awesome. Very clean and tidy room. Gentlemen behind the counter was very friendly and polite.Would recommend this place

Discusitng! Arrived into town late in thr afternoon and this was my only option. Spiders literally everywhere, couldn't shower as there were Spiders in the shower recess, I moved the bed so it wasn't underneath a bunch of Spiders and what was beneath the bed was horrible - clearly had been sometime since it was vacuumed, bugs and dirt everywhere. I tried to call reception but as it was after hours noone answered, I ended up leaving in the middle of the night and slept in my car. I have emailed and message them on Facebook and have not received a response, DO NOT spend the money- keep driving!UPDATE 2/4 Still no reply to emails or a phone call addressing the disgusting state of the room I was in!
