Very helpful and friendly

Erik has amazing design skills and his real talent is in the design process. Cannot fault his design - he thought of everything. Unfortunately some of the trades on his recommended trades list leave a lot to be desired and I advise that you source your own trusted trades. The recommended plumber left shoddy work (leaking sink, tripped over our antenna cable in our roof and broke it, struggled to do a basic dishwasher and plumbed dryer install) and his strip light supplier, Lincoln Sentry, stood us up multiple times without contact and wasted our time. The cabinet makers also siliconed our dishwasher kicker in (no screws!) - not very professional. Erik needs to ensure that he surrounds himself with trades that reflect the high standards on which he prides himself - Erik 5 stars, his trades 2 stars. I think in future I'd try someone else because the process was painful, required a lot of chasing up, and you don't get to pick who does your install!Update 1 year later - although there were some minor delays and issues with the trades during the process, and my frustration was evident above, a year on I'm still enjoying an amazing kitchen and regularly marvel at Erik's attention to detail. I do not have a single regret with the kitchen design, layout and installation. Erik thought of everything. So those initial frustrations aside (and noting that Erik doesn't control the work of independent trades) I can only fairly give a 5 star rating. Anything less doesn't acknowledge the design work that he puts in overtime to get exactly right.
