Service was excellent. Didn't wait long for our food. It tasted amazing. My daughter is anaphylactic to nuts, fish n sesame and they were very accommodating,cooking everything separately so there was no cross contamination. I was very grateful

Hog's Breath Cafe Cairns
We had an incredible dining experience at this place. The steak was exceptionally delicious and juicy, leaving us speechless as we savored every bite. It was truly a fantastic experience, and we highly recommend it! In our opinion, it's the BEST STEAK in the world.

Giving two stars for the great service. Unfortunately it ends there. We’ve been to Hogs Breath many times in the past and this was not at all on a par with that. We weren’t even sure they were open, the front doors were closed and some outdoor chairs stacked up even though it was 12:30. All the memorabilia is gone from the walls, there was zero personality in the restaurant, and when we walked in it was quiet, like we were about to sit on a bus with the 10 or so other diners.The food does not rate at all. The steak was chewy and flavourless, our garlic mushrooms had no garlic? The salad was limp and we discovered the kids burgers were pink after they were almost finished. We asked for lemonade and it had a distinct plastic taste. And we paid a premium for this of course.Sad to say the glory days of Hogs Breath are over, any pub can deliver much better food for a cheaper price these days, with more atmosphere. Won’t be returning.

Hog's Breath Cafe Cairns
I saw a few reviews that said it was bad since new ownership took over but I still wanted to give it a try. To be honest it wasn’t bad at all very similar to the one I grew up with in Adelaide. Meat was cooked well service was very lovely and good come out in a speedy time. And the bathrooms were really nice and clean which is a bonus.

Went for birthday dinner and we were so disappointed. Staff were friendly but under trained. Our poor server spilled my partner drink all over the table, she did quickly clean it and get him a new drink so that was ok. But the food was underwhelming, steak was cooked nicely but quite fatty and a double order of chips ended up being a handful. My salad was ok but was soon left unfinished when I spat out what looked to be a gum leaf. All in all $128 for two of us dining in for a steak, salad and one starter and a drink each was a bit of a shock considering the size and quality of the food. Hogs breath have lost the vibe it once had with its cool roadhouse restaurant it’s now plain and static with what seemed to be a rush to have us out the door to free up our table.

Oh no! This steak is absolutely incredible! Even my steak-hating friends devoured it faster than I did! The restaurant atmosphere, customer service, and the sheer deliciousness of the meal were absolutely flawless. It truly touched my heart! Initially, I only took pictures of the food for amusement, but I never expected to actually share them! The only downside is that since we're from Darwin, we can't enjoy it frequently, which makes me feel both anxious and melancholic.

We enjoyed the whole hog burger and ranch salad with chicken and avocado. Both meals were delicious, the best we have had at Hogs. The service was excellent, it was a pleasure to dine in at Cairns Hogsbreath
