The staff were fantastic looking after my father in the finale days of his life.They cared for him greatly.

My dad remained in this facility’s care for 2 weeks, and sadly, his health deteriorated significantly in the 2nd week that he was there. While he wasn’t quite himself when we picked him up, this was nothing compared to what we witnessed upon taking him home.He was finding it difficult to swallow, had lost his normally voracious appetite and was alarmingly uncommunicative, despite our best efforts to engage with him. After one day, I found myself in the back of an ambulance on the way to St George hospital Emergency department, fearing that he had had another stroke.After many blood tests and scans, and him needing to be placed on a catheter, we discovered that he was SEVERELY dehydrated. As you can imagine, we were distraught, and despite the passing of several more months, he has stabilised under our care, but is now with a significantly lower baseline.There is absolutely no question that his health condition deteriorated from the sheer neglect of Menaville's staff. This is a sentiment that is additionally echoed by his GP, as well as his geriatrician who was absolutely appalled when reading my dad’s issues upon admission.When I called to discuss this, I not informed that I was on speakerphone with another 2 people listening in, which is actually illegal. There was ZERO accountability for their actions, (or lack thereof when it came to keeping my dad hydrated), and instead they tried to suggest that his condition worsened after his discharge prior to his hospital admission.Needless to say, I do NOT recommend this facility for any care recipient with high needs.

Went to see my grandma today. we thought she was in a nursing home but we were interrogated as if we went to a police station. We went there before, working in that environment, staff CHRIS (receptionist) she has no compassion, she's rude and arrogant. we went to see someone, not steal anything. we were highly recommended that this nursing home was very compassionate but nothing was followed in the guidelines. I will be taking this matter further.
