Ballarat's Sanctuary Day Spa

Feel so relaxed and amazing !Dad and sister bought me a voucher for my birthday. So glad dad had this idea for me. Ash was my massage therapist, highly skilled and a great host. I had the Hydrating Body Boost which was 90 mins. Filled out a form before changing into bathrobe and thongs. Loved every minute of the treatment. After the session they guide you to a peaceful room where the fireplace was lit. I was presented with a glass of water and a tea of your choice from Tea Tonic. I had the Tea Party Tea, delicious. First time here and I'm going to treat myself to this spa retreat once every 3 weeks ! Amazing !

So glad we could squeeze in a trip to The Sanctuary over the weekend. After walking around Sovereign Hill all day/night on Saturday it was magic to be able to unwind and relax in the pool.Make sure you plan your trip well ahead of time as there are limited spots available and it does book up. All the better in my mind, it was so nice having the pool to ourselves for more than half the session! The team was lovely and really made our visit a great experience.The robes were so soft with a generous fitting (easily 4XL friendly). You're given flip flops, robe, and towel included in your entry. All you need to bring is your bathers.We had an hour with the pool and sauna which felt like more than enough time. We practically floated out of the spa, so cozy and calm on a cold wet day. Highly recommend a visit!

What a beautiful space, highly skilled therapists and truly delightful staff.I visited my dear friend in Ballarat and we pre booked a massage and spa / sauna Kylie was my therapist, who was amazing - all of the staff were fantastic.I will be coming back…better than many Dayspa facilities I have used in Melbourne..highly recommend.Thanks Ladies.

Incredible massage and facial with Louise today thankyou so much such a pleasant space to chill afterwards with a tonic tea and Springhill Farm slice absolutely magnificent. Best Xmas present ever!

I had a glorious four hours at Ballarat Day Sanctuary today. The facilities are amazing however my therapist Louise is the reason I’m posting this review! I had a 90 minute hot stone massage, with a 1 hour facial. What I loved was how the two were intertwined. My treatment started with a superb hot stone massage. I wanted a relaxing experience with a focus on my tight shoulder blades. Louise delivered 10/10 on both counts. In fact it was so relaxing I was almost asleep at one point!Then the facial commenced and I truly lost time. Just when I thought it was over Louise then went back to the hot stone massage on my arms and hands ❤️At numerous points throughout the massage and facial, Louise also gave wonderful scalp massages.I then went on to get the deluxe pedicure again with Louise. Whilst it was more expensive than your average nail salons, it was 110% worth it taking close to an hour with a lovely afternoon tea and leg scrub/ massage as well.At no time throughout my experience did I feel rushed and I came out feeling utterly refreshed. I honestly couldn’t get over the genuine care and passion Louise has for her work. What an asset she is!!I will definitely be back ❤️

It is clear why this has been voted numerous times as the best day spa. My wife and I as well as my friends and I have been coming to the spa several times since Christmas and we are glad we did! Every treatment has been amazing, from the Sanctuary access at the start to the lounge at the end, every second is enjoyable. The staff have remembered us too when we return!We love the place so much we returned on our wedding day with our bridal party as a special gift and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us.Ballarat Sanctuary Day Spa has set the standard for all other spas we go to, you won’t be disappointed and we can’t wait to return!

This place had a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere along with calm and welcoming service. I went for my birthday in a group of 8. We had a relaxing spa followed by a massage and an amazing lunch. Can’t wait to do it again.

You’re in for a lovely experience at the Sanctuary. The treatments are divine, and the before and after treatment experience is was really sets the sanctuary apart; with the opportunity to relax in their large spa beforehand, the lovely cup of tea and treat given to you at the completion of your therapy and the option to take a nice hot shower and enjoy some beautiful shampoos and body wash. The water pressure is sublime from the rainfall shower head.
