Coal River Farm
I was excited to visit and at the prospect of the pigs, goats and chickens as well as good food. I’d purchased a selection of cheeses at the Salamanca markets (delish) and was keen to visit.The food was amazing, as was the scenery, however it’s a bit run down on the “farm” side of things. It’s a shame because there’s a lot of potential there and it’s a great spot for families to have lunch and the kids to see a mini farm.But the staff were so lovely and the goat and Guinea pigs were cute.

What a spot! I love tasting the cheese, wine and chocolate sitting in a beautiful architectural wood/glass building facing the nature.Curated by a great host that served us well introducing us to their produce.

We went to the wine and cheese show at Darling harbour in Sydney today and was totally Blown away! The taste is amazing and the staff are awesome. Thanks so much

Coal River Farm
Great farm restaurant serving high cheese. The cheese selection was pretty good, but wish they had more variety of cheeses, like Gouda or more cheddar. The cheeses we did get were delicious. The high cheese also came with chocolates. All of it paired so well with wine. It was a great experience! Definitely recommend. There is also a friendly goat in the yard in a small fenced in area. Go say hello!

The food at coal river farm was amazing! We stopped here expecting some small cheese tasting (which they didn't have, but they had a ton of cheeses to buy) but got this amazing lunch. We had a pie with garlic feta and mushroom, foccacia with olive oil and balsamic, and this sensational honey crumbed brie. All the food was excellent.

What a place! This is a real gem and a must visit. The atmosphere is cosy, the staff are so friendly and the food, all I can say is wow! We had the High Cheese and it’s such good value for money and absolutely delicious!! The cheese comes a plenty crackers, chutney, 6 chocolates and any drink on the menu included. The chocolates are divine! I also had a salted caramel hot chocolate and it was incredible! Can’t rate this place highly enough!

Absolutely fantastic dining experience!! Everything we ate was fresh and beautifully prepared. From the baked Camembert to the sprouts on top of the chicken mignon! The portion sizes were great too - we shared the tiramisu amongst three of us! It’s rare to find a place where they excel at entrees, mains, desserts AND drinks, but Coal River Farm did it all, WITH fantastic service and a beautiful atmosphere.We can’t wait to come back!

This place was very cool. We spent the afternoon wandering around the fruit trees and seeing the resident goat before watching some chocolate being made and trying some for ourselves. It was a nice place to get a sweet gift for friends and family. The staff were friendly despite being swamped by customers non-stop the whole time we were there and having a function on.

The most AMAZING and DELICIOUS Sticky Date Pudding I've every eaten!The store is lovely warm as well as the staff and the food was delicious! Most definitely worth the visit!
