Great Food and very clean premises, just wish it was open for lunch, especially Friday and Saturday. Opens at 12.30 on a Sunday. Recently had items missing from order, hope that's only temporary due to new staff

Wonderful little chippy in Mt Evelyn. Staff are friendly and helpful, food is fresh and plentiful. Great value for money. (Chippy rating 8/10). Only downside is no malt vinegar. IMHO choose regular salt instead of chicken salt.

The ONLY fish n chips place in the whole area that always gets the number of potato cakes right and includes lemon wedges without having to be reminded.

Best fish and chips in Mt Evelyn. Fresh fish that's the best flake I've ever eaten. Great chips and proper home made potato cakes. The shop hides in the lower area of Birmingham Rd but it's worth finding

First of all I noticed the place was super clean. We got snackpack 2 with additonal crab sticks and it was plenty for 2 adults and a child.We could tell that fresh oil was used and quality of food was very good. Would come again if I'm in the area.

I have tried fish and chips in many places and this place is one of my favourites. The fish is generous and fresh and the chips are golden, fluffy and crispy. The oil tastes fresh and this is evidenced by the light golden finish. I have several fish and chip places closer to me but I'll always travel the extra distance to go to Fish Palace. (My neighbour does the same).

I would give zero stars but not an option.Potato cakes were dry, chips were in seasoned and rubbish!Lamb gyros was some of the worst I've had.It's a shame because this used to be a decent fish and chip shop.Must of had a change in management who are trying to cut costs.You won't have any costs when you don't have a business anymore.Very disappointed and will not be back.

Been going there off and on for years,usually happy with the food but after tonight won't be going back. Fish was paper thin ,no taste, batter over cooked, Potatoe cakes the same,paper thin.Not sure what they used to cook food in ,but chips were bright yellow ,no taste.
