I have been working with Haze and Tahlia as a Physiotherapist, and am always impressed by their enthusiasm, knowledge and the care they have for their members at Hammer Boxing Academy. But for me what sets them appart from other coaches across all different sports, is that they understand the science of their sport from a much deeper perspective.It's easy to identify a technical issue, or abnormal movement pattern, but Haze and Tahlia will look at this from a Biomechanical perspective, and consider what factors and forces are contributing to this, and then figure out exactly what needs to be done to fix the issue. Not just a your doing it wrong

Not only is the coaching at a high level technically, but Haze and Tahlia are amazing people that actually care about their students.I've trained at a few different gyms, and the lack of ego at Hammer Boxing is quite rare.Haze's commitment to mens mental health sealed the deal for me to join the gym.Lastly my children both train here, and they love coming. My son has special needs, and he isn't afraid to be himself here, which is amazing to see as parent.

Joining hammer boxing was one of the best decisions I made. Hazes coaching is second to none. I started at hammer boxing with no idea what to do with my hands and within a few shorts weeks had absolute confidence in the basic understanding of boxing, footwork and movements. Within just a few months I was able to start the advanced classes and hazes exceptional coaching and beginners program gave me the skills necessary to have complete confidence in myself and abilities when making the transition to advanced classes.
