Beautiful white sand outlook over Botany Bay and the Container Terminal. Unfortunately, not a great choice of beer or wine. Food was overpriced for the surroundings.

Top spot and great view. Quite nice as you can watch the sunset while you're dinning. The seafood is good but accompanied but a very bland salad. Great friendly service.

It's a bit loud, but everyone is happy, with friends & family. If your lucky you've scored a window seat. You have an unobstructed view of youth sailing and older kid's. The food might take a while as they are serving long dang table's of Birthday and Christmas groups. If that's not your go...try and go elsewhere. I'm a recent member. I got a Bar Discount...if you've got a big group or just the Lady of my life..every cents..can be added to the Grilled lamb chops..there are 3.And a salad and Greek condiments..I ordered that. By the time came to cook it..all the lamb was gone...I was pisst off..but chose Surf & Turf with a creamy sauce..I normally avoid the sauce...but I won't next time. It was delicious when it arrived. The salad came with a tiny grasshopper. Now that's a friggen fresh salad. I let it go...probably out there plotting it's revenge on me disturbing it's meal. Seriously..when or how many Lamb Cutlets do you thaw out?Not enough obviously..but not the end of the World...BUT it could be for members and Patron of the Yarra Bay Sailing club. It not just youth Sailing, the Fishing Club..or the Csalt restaurant...it's the idyllic location of a beach that is frequented by locals and their families. Visitors have turned around La Perouse..there are restaurants, cafe's etc..with NOT ENOUGH PARKING to service a great spot..perhaps they are already designing the parking to transport passengers to a proposed Cruise Ships Terminal.Yarra Bay will be absorbed. The traffic will expand exponentially...Youth Sailing for the area will disappear...and for what...stinky Cruise Ships using cheap sulphurous oil to pollute lungs wherever the wind blows it. Ask the residents of Balmain what the smell and rates or breathing distress the residents there face.Yarra Bay is Gr8 as it is..It needs more youth sailors...so get your kids into this...watch them while your taking their grandparents to lunch...watch your kids compete...they could become Olympians. We certainly felt good after my Sunday meal. Satisfied in so many ways...Say No to developing Yarra Bay.

First timer and so impressed! Great location - right on the edge of pure white sand and beach. Our meal was fabulous and the service was friendly. Exciting discovering this restaurant in a location I’d never been to before!

Lovely views, enjoyable food and nice staff but expensive for what was essentially bistro food. My daughter loved her kid's ice cream and the complimentary chocolates.

LOVE Csalt restaurant. All of our meals have been excellent. Our favourite meals are the lobster morney and steak with prawns. Many restaurants fail with tasteless frozen seafood. The seafood here is fresh and very tasty. Also the view of the beach is wonderful. The staff are attentive and friendly. A great place to dine. Garry and Deb

Food was fantastic! The first time...The second time we went we asked for medium steak it came out rare.We ordered garlic bread with our mains and it never showed. Our buzzer went off 10 mins after we'd finished... perhaps that was it. Didn't stick around to find out. $115 for 3 people. Not worth it.The photo's show our first experience which was very good. It was quiet compared to today. Obviously they don't handle pressure very well.
