Europcar Lisarow (Central Coast)

The only positive thing I've got to say is the lady in the office at Lisarow was great. All my dealings with Euopcar were friendly and professional.BUT I was charged for 2 days instead of 1. I then had to prove to them it was only 1 day. They also charged me twice on top of that. I'm still waiting for the money to be credited back. Almost a month later. Do not use these clowns.

I would highly recommend using Europcar to everyone, Ive only had great experiences with them and staff have always been super helpful, quick and easy to pick up and drop off I’ve used them twice the second time I actually cancelled a booking I had with budget because I was so happy with my first experience with Europcar

Not sure what is going on in this place but customer service isn't high on their priority list. The office is never open when they say they are, owner was rude and when asked questions he never seemed to know the answer. Would never rent with Europcar due to this experience.

Julio was wonderful. We have sorted a car in Lisarow to be used in Adelaide when we're away. A pleasure to deal with. A great price as well. Thank you again.

My carpeesh insurance company rent car from Europcar lisarow 900 Pacific hwy 2250 central coast 11 april - 2022 to 21-april-2022. When I go to pick up car she said I need to deposit $ 565.32 and I did. Then I return car 19-april-2022 but still they didn't return my deposit. I asked them why you are not return my money they said you used 2 more days I don't understand then he told me contact insurance company I called insurance company they said they need evidence what the hell....

Amazing customer service by Julio and the other staff. Arranged the car for me that I wanted and the renting process was very simple. Bond returned in time, no fuss. Also, found it to be the best value rental on the Coast.

Office wife open on a Monday morning, laptops out on desk, numerous car keys openly on display, no europcar employee to be seen, asked to leave the premises by a Storage King worker. Great experience....not

1 star is generous. Booked a car, turned up and 8.30 and the office is locked and empty. After an hour I find out that the staff has called in sick & apparently no replacements available. My 1-day hire for this day was offered to the next day (if I needed it the next day I would have booked it the next day), or I could have travelled to Artarmon or Newcastle (where I needed to go in the car..)… pretty pathetic that no other staff is available. Important appointments and meetings have been missed costing me a few thousand $$$. No more than a simple apology. Thanks Europcar … never again .On the plus side, despite not having any cars available, AVIS at Gosford went out of their way to help me find a car, even calling other companies, unfortunately to no avail. Thanks AVIS for your understanding.

Tried to book a few vehicles for our event, no availability of vehicles no matter what time/date was selected. tried to book just one vehicle, again... no luck and this was a month in advance. Their opening hours are also totally inadequate, seems this company at this location is not really a functioning business. I tried another rental provider and it was a far easier and way better experience.

Overall - very average at best. While the people I dealt with were friendly, there is a lot that could be improved. Booked a car for 11am pickup on a Sunday. The guy called me a bit earlier saying he may not be back from a quick trip to Newcastle in time but should be ok for 11am. I turn up in heavy rain at 11am - nobody to be seen. Finally at 11.30 he came in.Later when I loaded the car I discovered a small damage on the rear bumper, but they didn't mark that on the damage report. I guess I should have checked better at the pickup, however cause it was bucketing down I guess I missed that one. I informed them about the damage next day, and credits to them they didn't have an issue with it. Nevertheless, they should inspect the car better themselves as that's an obvious damage that should have been on the report in the first place.The car was not very clean and had an unpleasant smell too.Also discovered that the car had no tinted windows either - which is crazy in a country like Australia. Like how can a car even exist without a tint??? It was extremely hot and bright in the car as soon as the sun came out a bit.Also it was not even the car I ordered. I found out later they only have about 5-6 cars available in this location, and while you can order other cars on their website, many of those are actually not available. So why then can you order them in the first place if they are not available anyway?Overall, I would not go back there. Very mediocre on many levels compared to other car rental places I have been to over the years.
