Terrible stressful experience4 months ago we listed our house for sale and to make the front yard appealing we engaged Jordan. At the same time I gave birth to a baby (my third) and we were in the process of building a new house. The most stressful of all these things was dealing with Jordan! We got three quotes and Jordan’s was the middle quote. He seemed very pleasant when we met to discuss the job so we decided to give him the work. The crew that came to carry out the work were all very pleasant and polite however when they left I assumed they would be coming back because half the garden looked great and the other half (the front half that everyone sees when they enter the property) hadn’t been touched. We asked Jordon when they would be returning he said the job was done. When I explained it clearly wasn’t he said he would return. He did return and spent about an hour and the garden was still a complete mess. We tried to call several times and he never answered or returned calls. We made arrangements to meet him (via text only as he never answered or returned calls) which he agreed to then cancelled last minute. Open houses came and went with the garden looking a mess. Stress I absolutely did not need especially with a new born baby, trying to sell and build a house! He then sent us a bill. At this point I would have rated him 0 stars!! When we said we would not pay the full price as the job clearly wasn’t done he did agree (thankfully without argument) to reduce the price. Clearly he knew the job wasn’t done. He also did apologize saying it had been a very busy time for him. All in email, he never did returned the calls which I do think is extremely rude. However for his apology and the fact that he did reduce the price (as he should but I appreciated the lack of argument) he can have 1 star back.
