Our second visit here. 10 months apart. And it is still excellent. We shared a number of dishes. And none of them disappointed.The beef satay was SOO tender. Oh my word. The dumplings, chicken, curry puffs and the duck Penang curry were all delicious.Complemented with a Jim Barry Riesling we will be back. And sooner than 10 months.

Top notch experience! Atmosphere is modern but cosy. Service is attentive but not annoying. Food is absolutely delicious, beautifully presented with varied flavours from a combination of different Asian influences. Feed Me option keeps choosing super simple and they cater to all food allergies. Highly recommend.

The place is welcoming and the service was excellent. I find the decorations and design really modern and spacious. The panang duck legs curry was outstanding. The sauce was a flavour explosion. Salt and pepper cuttle fish was good as well. Malay popcorn chicken was not bad, the sauce was nice and tangy due to the tamarind, but some spiciness would improve the flavour profile of the dish. The tempura eggplant was beautifully cooked but didn’t have much taste to it. Snapper and mango salad were fresh and tasty. Lastly, the mocktail Prima Doona was amazing. Definitely recommend to give it a try.

What a delightfully delicious evening we had dining at Lotus last night. Double date evening with perfect sharing options for a thoroughly enjoyed dinner. Service is excellent, lots of smiles, consistently looked after without being overbearing. A vibrant well thought out area for dining over 2 floors along with a very delicate balance between a lively and chilled atmosphere. We had several courses from the á la carte menu, smalls, medium, large and dessert with coffee. The price is very reasonable and every course was exceptional. Highlights included prawn dumplings, cuttlefish, oysters, charred broccoli, snapper, and the braised beef rib. Would definitely recommend and look forward to returning.

My wife and I had a wonderful lunch here a few weeks ago and we definitely will return. Service was attentive and excellent. We could not decide at first whether we should order the feed me or individual dishes. My wife wanted to try some particular dishes and of course in hindsight I should have listened to her but I convinced her to try the feed me instead, hoping some of the dishes she wanted would be included. Alas this was not the case as none of the dishes she had hoped to try was served and we were told that we could not request dishes if we chose the feed me option. Fortunately our marriage was saved when my wife said that she would loved to visit again to try the other dishes and I gave the her the best answer in the world -“OK”…marriage saved whew lol. Food was fantastic though and individually the dishes all had very interesting tastes. It got quite crowded and because the tables where we sat were near each other, we could hear the pretty much the conversation of the couple next to us…we think they were on a blind date. Anyway I digress but yes I would definitely recommend Lotus!

This is the sister hotel to Ginger and Tonic in Fremantle and the food is just as epic! We chose our own dishes and enjoyed everything except for the charred broccoli which was not charred and tasted boiled. The curry puffs, beef rendang and roti's were a few of my favourites. We had a lovely Irish waitress who was fantastic and very polite. Because it was so busy, it was occasionally difficult to wave someone down to get a drink or order more food.The one let down was the service of who I assume was the restaurant manager for the evening. It was very hard to hear and I asked to pay for the prosecco separately, he got really angry at me and told me I wasn't able to get another bottle of prosecco because our time allocation was up. My husband explained I didn't want to buy another bottle, just pay separately and he very sassily replied that he knows what he heard and I wouldn't be getting another bottle.

This place was an absolute pleasure indeed. Got no idea why I’ve never tried here until now although I pass by the street all the time! The charred broccoli, fried eggplant, pork neck were all seriously incredible. Highly recommendable. Would like to reorder the eggplant in particular.

First time dining at Lotus, well worth the 6 week wait for the booking; we enjoyed the Feed Me option for 4 people and loved everything. After checking the menu we don’t know what we would’ve chosen differently. Definitely recommend it and looking forward to our next visit!

We all loved our experience and the staff were amazing! I would like to say however the rule of 7 people per table should not be enforced as not everyone has the capacity to pay $72 a head without drinks. I am sure you would still make more than that if you would let people book at least up to 10 people before that rule. I had to not invite friends because of this.Can't wait to dine here again soon

Hello readersConsistency is what describes Lotus.Great food (the Chef feed me option is the way to go with).Atmosphere, customer service and quality is remarkable.I’m now living in the neighbourhood and all I can say is that I’m gonna be more often.Thanks to the entire team for looking after us.
