Quiet chalet surrounded by walks. Run by a couple of olds who seem to be winding down the place after many years. The chalet has reverse aircon, and was warm in April. It's a little dated. Enjoyed chatting with the owner. Had a good nights sleep. They do Not sell food-Self catering only-Coles or a Hotel for grub in Mundaring town 4 mins drive away. No Vodafone signal or wifi. Could do with a clean.

This place is an inexpensive, rustic retreat. The valley has a stream running through with birdsong and frogs croaking. Rooms are a bit old and could be cleaner, but as a quick getaway just outside of the city that lets you feel like you're a million miles away it's perfect.

We had a large challet, it is off the beaten track, a great place to get away from the chaos of the city and take time to breathe

I showed up after 14 days at work. I wanted a rustic retreat, with trees and nature around me. I had the weir down the road , pictureres surroundings with running creeks and sound of croaking frogs :)) , pubs super close ( which i totally did not want nor use) I drank red wine under the cloudy cold sky with a massive smile on my face , had a Fantastic conversation with the owner, he started the fire pit for me , even in the rain. I needed a chill escape , with a comfy homey feel and I got it. Lucky for me I had the place to myself as everyone booked sat night. I had my music on, drank red, cooked a feed, watched rabbits run past me and I cooked marshmallows that was generally left for me by the owners . Im so sorry that I forgot your names him and his beautiful wife :) thank you for letting me relax :))

Lovey place to get away. Spending the weekend away with my wife for her 50th. Really picturesque. Friendly wildlife too Warwick has been incredibly engaging and helpful. Will definitely be coming back here.

The property was very messy and dirty. Lots of cleaning needed for just the upkeep of property. The communal areas were dusty and not nice to sit down at. The room itself was very dusty and couldn't walk around without shoes on. The bed was really uncomfortable and we did not get a good nights sleep. The garden area was closed off and couldn't access it. The man made lake under the bridge was empty and not working - very stagnant water. Not really great for the price we paid. Wouldn't recommend until some work has been done.

Whilst the setting is really beautiful the B&B needs a very good renovation, something that the photos don't portray. This is probably because the owners want to sell so are not going to bother. Don't get dressed up for going out before breakfast as you'll end up reeking of fried bacon and eggs......... have your shower, wash your hair and change afterwards. The owner didn't really want me to sit next to the open door for fresh air for some reason. I had to borrow some White King" from our relatives to clean the mould-ridden sink plug and my husband needed to use his "puffer" because of the dusty lace canopy over the bed (also the home of a very large spider web and its huge occupant)."
