R.M.Williams Gawler Place

Poor customer service and brand stewardship. We purchased a $600 leather bag in Alice Springs whilst our train was stationed. The keeper accidently left the security tag on and we didn't realise until we arrived in Adelaide. We visited this store for assistance in removing the tag and was met with a very judgemental young man who treated us like thieves...despite us presenting full receipts for the full price item and all soft and hard packaging. He promptly told us his store didn't safety tag their products and that we are best to find another store along Rundle Mall to help. No apologies or directions. Whilst other stores had different tag machines all 5 stores we had to visit commented how poor the customer service from RM was.

Such a good experience buying at the Gawler Pl RM Williams! Josh was so helpful and provided us a really good time in-store explaining every question we had and helping us find exactly what we wanted. I'm so happy, for sure I'll come back.

Best place in town for quality outdoors wear. Knowledgeable and switched on staff. Great range and excellent warranties on gear.

BAD Service, we brought x20 pairs of boots from RM over last 12 months we had one pair with warranty claim for the coming apart, sent them back but they have not got back to us at all followed up heaps an no reply we are now 4 months on an still nothing after spending 15k - they have been sent to this store from newmarket apparently still nothing....

The 2 young guys refused to accept return of my boots last week as they had been worn.I wore them inside the house to check size, as they never have stock of Tambo boots in store to try on.I posted them instead and got a refund no problem, but won't be buying from RM again, at least not the Adelaide store.

I experienced outstanding customer service when I went into the Gawler Place store. I had bought a belt from a small shop in remote WA but it was the wrong size, luckily I was able to swap it over here in Adelaide with no issues.

I purchased the Barton Boot, and was amazed at the comfort of these boots. Better still, they are light weight and have a soft cushioned feel when wearing them. I look forward to purchasing more boots from here. Sam at the Gawler Place store is very lovely, attentive, helpful and warm.

Have never experienced customer service this bad. None of the 3 sales assistants made any effort to help us. We had to approach them for information about styles etc. I asked about different sized pants and the younger girl said she would ‘go look it up for me’ and just started serving someone else and didn’t acknowledge me again. Hopefully she earns commission because she just lost a sale for a bridal party of seven men.

Great Australian Icon stocking high quality boots,clothing for men,women and children, fashion accessories, all in the latest styles,colours and sizes! Not inexpensive but helpful staff can assist you with product knowledge including Kara, Holly Anthony and Harrison !
