They helped me with one-on-one training for my dog with a focus on specific issues that needed attention and the advice was easy to follow and implement with amazing results! My Husky has been training with Stian for about two years now - initially in group classes, then 1:1, group walks and top up training for specific behaviour.I found it very hard to find a trainer who got 'cut through' with my very stubborn, aggressive and alpha dog who needed intervention over positive reinforcement.First and foremost, Stian trained *me* how to understand my dog's behaviour and the types of techniques that would have immediate effect. E-collar training has been an absolute game changer and has given my dog so much more freedom. It has also made me less anxious and frustrated every time I took my dog out - and my calmness has also made my dog calm down. There is no way my dog would be able to be let off lead without it. I tried everything.Stian is a no BS trainer. He is measured, compassionate, patient and understands common and uncommon behaviours. My Husky absolutely loves him and tries so hard to please him. I have only ever needed one lesson for each specific problem and I get lots of drills to take home to continue working with my dog.Cannot recommend Beautiful Beasts highly enough.

I found Stian through a Facebook group called ‘Reactive Dogs Melbourne’, we have been struggling with our Heeler and had been through a couple of trainers, one was positive reinforcement trainer ( this was definitely not for us or our dog) and the other trainer spent 90 minutes talking about herself with no focus on educating us or our dog. We were at our wits end and came to the conclusion that we just needed to ‘manage’ our reactive dog. I scoured through Facebook groups and found Stian recommended over and over for reactive dogs, we had our session last and we learnt so much in 2 hours and the change in Ringo was immediate, it felt like we had a different dog as we stood outside a busy Bunnings and he calmly watched people go by whilst staying focused and happy. Our session was packed full of practical training and we left feeling confident and happy that after many different trainers/methods that we had finally found the right approach for our people & dog reactive red Heeler. Since training we have walked our ‘non-reactive’ dog down the beach and in our village shops on a busy Saturday, it feels like the world is opening up again.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Stian and his team both one on one and in classes and he is brilliant. The wealth of his knowledge and passion for dogs comes across clearly and the difference post training with our dog is insane, both dog and owners feel comfortable and confident. He concisely explains behaviours and how to thoughtfully correct them. Highly recommend.

My high energy, high prey drive, rescue pup and I attended one of Stian’s group classes today and he was absolutely amazing! We’ve predominantly been using positive reinforcement training but honestly my dog needed structure, direction, and an intervention. I’m now feeling more confident in my handling and ability to correct her and am looking forward to our future together, rather than feeling anxious about her reactive behaviors.

Stian was an absolutely instrumental role in helping my Swiss Shepherd Tofu and the family to understand each other. Despite growing up with and around dogs, we’d had no experience raising a puppy, and despite how prepared we thought we were before be brought her home there were many uncertainties that popped up. Stian was able to come visit us at our home at flexible times which was so helpful with my families different work schedules. He helped explain to us why Tofu would be behaving certain ways, and what we could do to help her thrive. I cannot recommend him enough.

Stian has brought great calm to both me any recently adopted rescue Honey. When I was near tears and feeling out of sorts, he was always there to provide advice and let me know things would get better.
