would rather have a zoom call funeral run by an animal that speaks 0 english than be buried by these incompetent people. everything went wrong that couldve gone wrong. the most disorganised, unprofessional garbage experience ive ever had, you'd think a funeral would do better than make a family feel like that. couldnt help but laugh at a few points throughout my grandfathers funeral. could turn that entire live stream into a comedy movie and sell it to netflix. it was that embarrassing. thanks for nothing, generation funerals. especially u, penny.edit for the comment that penny made;hi pennyi think you forgot that our entire family is from Latin America and therefore all have strong accents. Why would u bring the priest into this? you mad that he was so much better than you? apart from the fact he mispronounced my grandfathers name each time he said it, atleast he could do his job properly. wow, what a lovely way to gaslight your grieving customers who are people of colour to make us seem like the bad guys. seems like you can’t take criticism? something that you need to work on especially considering the line of work you’re in. this is really funny considering you’re like triple my age. anyway, do better - like, much better. you’re the one who was disorganised, not the church LOL stupid.

Generation Funerals Bundaberg
This is a negative review for Bundaberg Generation Funerals.1. Take home message is do not pick these people because you will have a bad experience. Stay away. They are unprofessional, don’t pay attention to detail, bad communication, untrained staff and the presentation is tacky. They literally leave everything to the last minute like its some task they don’t want to do.2. Price: I was quoted $6,000 for a burial but charged $13,800. Thus, misled. When I rang to try to cut costs such as doing our own flowers, power point to bring the cost to what was originally quoted Penny got angry and caused arguments within the family. Thus, I just paid the woman and left her to be in charge to avoid conflict in the family so that she could make a profit out of the death of our father. These people want to get rich out of the suffering of others. You will get zero empathy from these folk.3. Communication: I rang, emailed, texted but they would not part with any information. I did not know what a burial looked like because in my experience I’ve only attended cremations and Penny would not tell me because she said, “everyone knows what a funeral is.” Maybe others do but I didn’t, and I wanted to know. Penny only rang the afternoon before the morning funeral to ask if there was anything we wanted to add or suggest. My father was buried a week after he died and at this stage it was just too late. Information was given to only one member of the family who did not share it with others because he has autism. Penny ignored our requests for being kept in the loop which would have been very easy and simple to do. We wanted to know things like the address of the church and the address of the cemetery. We had to google this information because Penny would not give it to us.4. Psychological harm: My family has suffered a great deal of psychological harm to Penny’s unwillingness to do basic communication. We don’t have copies of the death certificate to this day, nor has she told us about the progress. You have to follow up everything with these people because they have zero initiative to communicate. They collect payment and do the bare minimum thereafter.5. Professionalism: Penny interrupted the church presentation to take my father’s body away because she didn’t read the program she was meant to have created herself. And once my father’s body was about to be buried and a prayer was being said she interrupted again with her own nonsense. This woman cannot read a room. She was asked to send the pictures from the power point presentation to the rest of the family and months later we still don’t have them. We still don’t have copies of the death certificate. The only proof of my father’s death we could submit to our employers for taking time off was the bill. They are most unprofessional.6. Body presentation: My father’s dead body looked awful. I got charged a lot of money for the presentation of my father’s dead body but it looked like they just dumped him on a casket with a jacket that was oversized and with his nose hairs untrimmed. He would have been embarrassed to be seen like that in real life.7. Penny implied that my autistic brother was smarter and understood things without having them explained to him. My brother does not notice things so he does not ask. I have a university degree and I am a professional so I am far from stupid and given the price tag I deserved a level of communication at least.8. Some constructive criticism: I think that Generation Funerals needs to learn more about communication and presentation of a funeral because what our family experienced was awful due this burial pallor’s unprofessionalism.

Penni, David and the team at generation funerals are beautiful people. They take the utmost care of and show respect for your deceased loved one. Helping to make such a traumatic time of the passing of my brother that little bit easier, helping us through from start to finish. From the bottom of my heart, thankyou.
