Had a service guy respond promptly and professionally and he diagnosed our issue. The quotation came through the next day. very happy with the service.

Service was prompt and efficient from booking quote, return call and service arrival in 1 day turnaround. I'd expected to have this delayed for at least a week and still not rectified as most repairs are like these days. Technician was courteous and porfessional. Was able to quickly detect problem of water leakage from AC and throughly checked other areas to see if it was operating correctly. Will use ACG again if needed in future.

I left an online request for a service of 3 systems in our home. I had quick response from them that day and organised an appointment time. The quote given at the time was the price charged without tying to justify any extras. Service was quick and efficient. I have used ACG for a number of years and have found this service to be consistent.

Had a very unusual and difficult to diagnose problem with our ducted air conditioning unit. Michael from ACG was very persistent in getting to the bottom of the issue. He arrived on time and spent over 3 hours testing the unit while also keeping us informed of his progress. Eventually he was able to get it working and just in time for the hotter summer days. When the installation team installed my central air conditioning, I asked them how should I clean the inlet filter. They told me to vacuum and not to wash it with water. The service Team however washes it with water and not vacuum, then puts it back wet and told me to run the central air conditioner for 15 minutes to dry the filter. Niw everyone knows that dust is in the air all the time and if you run the air conditioning unit with a wet filter, you will pick up these dust particles and clog the filter over time. I asked why and told them what their installers told me. Their reply was vacuuming destroys the filter. I've vacuumed the filter and it doesn't destroy the filter. Now I'm kind of wondering if these guys know what they are doing. What the installers told me kind of makes sense since cleaning with water would only clog the filter, particularly when you put it back wet. You're not putting this through the washing machine, only lightly washing off the accumulated dust with water which would tend to clog the filters over time if you keep washing with water.The owner of the company rang me the next day (which was nice) and wanted to explain to me that the service technician who washed the filter instead of vacuuming was doing the right procedure because washing apparently extends the life of the filter. He tells me that vacuuming is also correct but will cause the filters to degrade and may only last 4 years as opposed to 8 years with washing. If that were true then I said your installers and service technicians should be saying the same thing and not contradict each other. Seems like a bit of training needs to be implemented to get the same message out.In any case, time will tell which method will be the most effective.
