2022 update: whet for a work dinner. Unfortunately i could not choose any of my favourites as my group was over 8 we could only chooae banquet.Not a big fan of banquet but the Paul guy, the master of service was amazing, friendly, helpful.Still will go back!2019 Loved it and i will go back. I went their with my client for a light meal and drinks. The veiw was beautiful, staff were friendly, service was quick and their food was delicious.Update: went there again for a celebration. Tried their seafood platter and some other stuff by their recommendation. To die for.I went there again for their famous ribs. Huge serve and delicious.

We’re hear for the thanksgiving dinner.Nice set menu with classic American thanksgiving dinner.Nothing was overly mind blowing, but generally everything was good, enjoyed the food and service a lot.Turkey was good as well as some of the other starters, desserts were the weaker part of the meal in our opinion but didn’t ruin the overall good experience

Wow! What a great restaurant. It’s located on the first floor of building in Barangaroo area. Restaurant is open aired with views of water. Atmosphere is fun and lively and the wait and bar staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. And then there’s the food and cocktails…which are absolutely delicious. We ordered the St Louis sour, the Buffalo Theory cocktail, wedge salad, ribs, snapper and fries and finished off with a couple of desserts. What a great night!

Good atmosphere at this place. The bar area is fantastic and is HUGE. If I was rating just the bar area I would give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, but the restaurant has dropped the rating unfortunately. The cocktails were fantastic by the way...The food was ok. There were a couple of dissapointing aspects. The “slaw” side dish had no flavour. And I mean, no flavour at all.Also when the water was served at the beggining of the meal, the waitress asked if we wanted still or sparkling. The water was presented in two jugs, similar to what you would normally think how “free” water would be served. When we received the bill we found that the two people that said “sparkling” were charged $5 a glass.We paid the bill as this is no problem. BUT it is confusing when you serve water like this as the customer should clearly understand when he/she is being charged for something. And because the water was served in identical water carrier jugs, it is not clear at all....

Heard some good reviews on NOLA and finally went for a busines lunch couple of months ago. Highlights of the meal were the Dry Rubbed Carolina Pork Ribs and Blacken Free Range Chicken. The menu is on pricey ends for the serving size. Overall an okay dining experience.I share the sentiment of the other reviewer about confusion of sparkling water (serving side by side with no cost tap water) costing $5 per person, perhaps a courtesy to inform customers of its price would be appreciated.

Had heard good things about Nola.I was dining alone and wanted the 4 meat BBQ combo. I was politely informed that was not possible as it was for a minimum of 2 people. Be nice if the menu said that!I settled upon the fish and green tomato salad.So the fish was great - well cooked. Nice a crispy skin. But the piece was tiny.The tomato salad was underwhelming.Service was good and with a beer and a wine - $100. Yep expensive.

Wonderfully decorated smokehouse serving quality food. Tried their sample menu and there was no weak link in the menu whatsoever. Entrees included a beautifully smoked sliced beef, olives and fried okra.Sides include corn bread, Mac and cheese which was executed with care.The meat sampler consisting of the brisket, pulled pork, lamb shoulder and smoked chicken were exactly what you expect from a specialized smokehouse. The brisket did have a bit more un-rendered fat than what I would have liked but was otherwise exceptional with great smoke penetration. The chicken was beautifully smoked, tender and smooth (even the breast) and the sauce was nicely paired.Serving size for the tasting menu was way too big so we did takeaway for the unfinished portions which the attentive and professional staff happily arranged.Price is somewhat on the pricier side but you can definitely get an equally great dining experience ordering smartly al la carte.There is also a bar seating section that I didn't go to but looked very relaxing and elegant.

Booked under Jaye for a 6-8pm booking. It started off lovely. Food came out quickly and was decent. Cocktails quite nice. Not a fan of the 10% gratuity added automatically (we aren’t america) and then when we went to pay the waitress asked if we wanted to tip?! Anyway before we ordered we were told we had till 8pm to leave as they had another booking, around 7:20 we were finished with food and table was cleared and asked if we wanted dessert to which we declined so bill was brought and payment made. One member was still drinking his cocktail and we were sipping on water. The waitress who was lovely for the first 3/4 of the service started to clear the table, taking full glasses of water which was being drunk and took my friends 1/2 finished cocktail from in front of him without saying anything and walked away. We took this is our queue to leave (7:35ish) on the way out I told the hostess what had happened and she confirmed we were entitled to stay until 8pm and that the drink wouldn’t have been taken and that we must have gotten up - which was incorrect as all six of us was sitting at the table the entire time post paying bill. We paid over $700 for a party of 6 and were treated very poorly at the end. Not happy and expect an email or phone call in response to this. You are welcome to check the cameras and see what happened cause we are all very confused. I probably won’t return unfortunately.

We were a party of 8 dining a la carte, we received nothing but excellent service, the menu is superb, the food is outstanding with incredible flavours, the ambience is wonderful, and we'll be back. Our only suggestion is about the actual menu printing, the words are in light colours, the paper is also light coloured, in dim light (just right) it is very hard to actually read the words, most of us were getting our phones out to get better light, to then make our menu choices, when reprinting, we suggest darker print is used, which is our best suggestion.
