Great experience, friendly staff and zero problems. The Hawksbury was a really great estuary system to explore.So why 3 stars rather than 5? Lack of recycling capability or recycling awareness. When asked about this, the staff said the garbage people were fed up with sorting through incorrectly sorted recycling. However this is a bit of a cop out. All they need to do is install some specific plastic/glass and paper recycling bins on board with instructions and the guests will sort it them selves. We took our recycling home to sort it there.As a company that makes money of selling floating nature getaways you should do everything you can to support sustainable waste practices.

Great 45 foot fisherman class houseboat. Staff were professional, responsive and friendly. Location was really beautiful. Tender was a bit leaky and it’s outboard had a vapor-lock problem despite tank breather being fully open. Would score five stars if not for this relatively small issue. Aside from that - highly recommend these guys.

From booking our house boat for two nights to arrival to boarding to leaving the marina to out and about to returning to the marina to unloading to saying good byes to return of the bond. There was not one thing we could fault. It was everything and plus for an amazing weekend. Kerry from the office was on the ball with emails and kepted us up to date with everything we needed to do. Arrival was as smooth as and Karen was so helpful and friendly. Loading all our things was a breeze. Our houseboat was so clean and tidy. Darrel showed us around the houseboat explaining everything we needed to know. Answering our questions. On our way out of the marina Darrel made us feel very comfortable with everything we needed to know about taking control of the houseboat when he left us. We had an amazing time on the houseboat. Exploring, fishing, BBQing rowing to shore. Meals on the top deck. On our return back Matthew meet us to take us back in through the Marina. He also made us feel very welcome. Once back we unloaded everything, up to the office where we meet with Karen once again. Finished all the paper work and said our good byes. This was our 1st ever time going out on a Houseboat. We would definitely go back to Holidays Afloat Houseboats again. Thanks to all the staff that made our weekend very enjoyable.

This was our third time using Holidays Afloat and each time keeps getting better. It is always trouble free and such a smooth process from the parking to unloading and off we go. We couldnt fault a single thing and have such a great time we have booked again next year.

We had a wonderful weekend on the houseboat “Rita”. The boats are well maintained, clean and kitted out. We really enjoyed ourselves! Thank you - we hope to return in the future ;)

Incredible service, great boat and a thoroughly enjoyable weekend and experience.

Spent 3 fun days on an 8 berth boat with another couple. Our boat was a little dated but served the purpose. Beautiful waterways around the Hawkesbury, especially Refuge Bay. Definitely will use this business again.

We had the 12 Berth Homecruiser for 3 days and it was easy to use for us first-timers. Overall a well-organised, relaxing and exciting experience - mainly thanks to Karen, who was always available to answer my questions and help us plan ahead. I highly recommend it!

Karen & the crew are so lovely and accommodating. We went out for a night on Mother’s Day and the family had such a great time so we booked again to go for 2 nights a month later.A wonderful experience making memories. The kids loved it too. Can’t wait to do it again
