It was ok, but nothing to make me want to come back again. I had the market fish but the meal was very salty, had no lemon on the side and the fish had a couple of scales. The desserts all contained dairy and because I’m limiting my animal fat intake I could not take part in the dessert.I loved the wine and the coffee and the staff were friendly.

Wow! Was part of a group tour. This place is very well presented and clearly markets to an audience looking for that pop!It has multiple dining areas catering to family gatherings through to high end private functions. The menu was broad and the food good.If you've got friends from out of town, this would be good day out to impress.

Lovely venue, staff were all wonderful and efficient. Food was devine! We did have to wait for our mains for a while, but after mentioning it, my 2 drinks I had ordered ended up complimentary to apologise. All in all, very happy with the whole experience. Also loved that their menus clearly states and has options for dietary requirements. I am dairy free and we chose this place based on the fact their menu had DF options and clearly listed.

Had lunch here. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was amazing. We ordered the fried squid to share and my partner said she would probably just order that by itself for a lunch next time. Then we had the seafood chowder and market fish of the day. Both were awesome. Then we went down the back to the Maalinup Aboriginal art gallery and checked out the art and tastings they had there.

Wonder place to have lunch with family. My 4 years old daughter really enjoyed herself running around. Everyone was really nice and staffs were very welcoming and food was tasty and worth it.

Nice place overlooking the vineyard, I ordered the beer tasting paddle and it was very good. Then a pasta with typical Australian seafood.

Lively busy place with alfresco dining and indoor dining. Some of the tables were really narrow and not long enough. Unfortunately for us we have tall big people with us and we had to squeeze together so it wasn't pleasant or comfortable. The outdoor tables were bigger but on a winter day and with sideways rain, made for some interesting experience.Bookings essential for the restaurant. The food and drinks that we had were quite good. The special Housestead Brewery sauce was different and I liked it. Traditional fish and chips were massive servings. The burgers were big with a smaller serving of chips compared to the fish and chips. If you bring your own cake for birthday celebrations they charge for the service. There is parking it's small compared to the size of the venue. People have been parking down the drive, as in the curbside tree lined drive. We kind of missed the turn off thinking it was separate building. It was the gallery.Large toilet facilities and fully tiled and one of the fanciest we have seen. Fancier than the restaurant.

This is a cafe in a vineyard. The view is great! Nice blue sky over rows and rows of grapevines (but no grapes).Food was ok. The sourdough with clam chowder was especially great! The pasta, pizza etc are good too.
