Be very cautious of this tavern. Not only are the prices expensive but the covid practices are even more worrisome..Were told 45 minute wait for meals. No problem as the staff were busy. After an hour we asked for update and were reassured that the kitchen were onto it . At the 90 minute mark again requested an update and were informed the order had been lost!!. Requested refund and left. There is a lack of system in this pub and a high likelihood of being exposed to covid. Give this town and pub a big detour

Good ambiance, terrible service, most menu items unavailable. Ordered four meals at 6.00pm. None arrived together with the final meal arriving at 7.45pm. One meal was good one was edible, just. Two were awful. Won't be returning.

Didn't go into the tavern but is a lovely little town has a swimming pool bowls club had an evening market that was on a very clean town has a very nice Museum and a quite large playground for kids BBQ areas overall a very lovely town almost out of a postcard one of the cleanest towns I have been to toilets in the kids playground were clean at the time of my visit

The Tavern has great atmosphere & food with the combination of workers & travellers.Really needs more meal table seating (with pool tables rearranged) in the main tavern. We ate in the kitchen area but would of been better in the Tavern.

The staff at the Tavern are so helpful and friendly and the meal was cooked to perfection. Westonia is an absolute credit to all who live and work there. I'll be back and thoroughly recommend it.

An atmospheric, friendly country pub with huge ceilings, but nice and warm in winter, helped by the open fire. There's a brand new chef preparing excellent meals supporting the old menu. The accompanying veggies were a real welcome mixture. Hopefully they'll offer some great specials once they settle in.Love the tropical plants in the courtyard to the restaurant annex. There's plenty of outdoor seating in different areas around the pub.Some lovely art inside there too.
