A hidden gem in Yeoval on the way home from NSW. Lovely coffee and friendly people. The permanent Banjo Paterson exhibition is worth an hour or two to enjoy.

Absolutely brilliant. Lovely to meet Alf and Sharon. Alf took the time to chat with us about some of the memorabilia. His wealth of local and historical knowledge along with his obvious passion for the subject was wonderful.

A very interesting insight into this life of one of our nation's finest poets and story writers. The food at the cafe was very good and at $5.00 for hamburger plus great coffee well worth it.

A definite must see when travelling through. We visited the Banjo Paterson Museum which was informative with audio guides. Had a Banjo Paterson burger which was delicious and only 5.--, can't go wrong there. We also bought some locally made flour. What I'm trying to say, please support these small towns by spending time and money.

I think the opening hours listed online are incorrect. The information centre in Orange also seems to have the wrong information and told us this would be open on Sunday but when we got there it wasn't. We were quite disappointed. However there are a few sculptures on a park across the road that we took some photos with, and there's a lovely series of Animals on Bikes sculptures that we saw along the drive, which meant the trip wasn't a total waste. Just a shame we were given inaccurate information.

Impressive Museum. Loved the commentary and history from a time long ago and about our Aussie Icon Banjo Paterson. We also enjoyed the animal sculptures between Molong and Yeoval. Well worth the drive and visit to this historic little town.

The best thing about this museum is Alf and Sharon the volunteers. They are friendly and entertaining. They are very knowledgeable.Sharon makes the scones fresh every morning and they are awesome. They have real expresso coffee. Lots of the locals just come in for the cafe. This museum fits a lot into a small space.I am not a museum person, so didn't look at too much. They offered us head sets for an audio recording. If you wanted to look at everything you would be here for hours.

A lot of information about the life of Banjo Paterson. There is audio commentary that you can listen to. You can also buy books about Banjo, Henry Lawson and other authors there. Interesting to visit the museum.
