We enjoyed our lunchtime cruise on Captain Proud Paddle boat.Found it good value. Meal was much more than expected, very nice.Highly recommend.

A lovely meal and the river cruise was interesting but the highlight of the day was the staff of the Captain Proud. The service was excellent cheery and polite and very prompt attention to all our needs Thanks for a lovely trip on the river.

Captain Proud Paddle Boat Cruises
Impromptu weekend trip with friends. Chanced upon Captain Proud and it was a charming and beautiful cruise! The price covers a three hour cruise, meals, and dessert! The meals are simple - fish or chicken - and then dessert! The entertainment by the lovely Maxine K was very enjoyable. I even got to steer the paddle boat with Captain! Had a lovely time! Come for views, the slow and relaxing ride, and a great way to spend time with friends and discover SA! Murray River is beautiful!

Was an amazing time on here. So relaxing and quiet. Well worth the trip down for the morning cruise. With the journey down the Murray on the old paddle boat is definitely worth the drive down definitely would be looking at doing it again sometime soon

Great value! We had a very relaxing cruise, a lovely lunch and friendly efficient service. And that was after being picked up from our hotel and dropped back afterwards. Highly recommended!

Wonderful afternoon, informative commentary. Excellent lunch, the schnitzel was so big I couldn't finish it, and the apple crumble was truly home made.I would have given 5 stars but for the fact that when I bought the bottle of red wine the young girl gave me small white wine glasses. When I asked for the larger red wine glasses she said she was not allowed to, but couldn't give me a reason why!

Would recommend, it was a lovely up and down stream paddle boat for 2 course lunch. The meals were awesome, plus bar at your own cost so relaxing. In good hands with Captain Steven. He had a great sense of humour and was very informative of the history of the Murray river and Murray bridge. Had such a good but relaxing time.

The Mrs and me had a great leisurely lunch cruise. The boat and facilities were great and the food and drinks even better. Maybe add some craft beers to the menu eh? The views along the mighty Murray as you cruise by at a slow pace are great to take in, and the informative commentary described a number of interesting facts along the way. Definitely recommend it for a feed and a nice relaxing day out.

What a great cruise we had today, from the moment we boarded to disembarking it will be a memorable day. The staff were all happy and did an amazing job serving many guests, the meals were of a good size many choices, a 2 course lunch is included in the tour price, thanks yo the captain for his great commentary along the Murray River,
