Jarman Oval
Jarman Oval has the footings of an old, early pioneers house. It's in the grounds of the historic Quarantine Station - later used by the Australian Army but now managed by National Parks. It's free entrance and has parking. Nearby are ancient aboriginal middens from pre-colonial times. Jarman Oval is used for an annual Polo match by the rich and maybe-famous but don't forget to use the toilets up near the information centre building, near the car park, about 400m away. The beach is 50m away but can have a strong cross current one tidal changes. Careful of snakes, you'll see echidnas, lizards, kangaroos and wallabies. Awesome place.

Jarman Oval
Lovely spot on Point Nepean. The Vic Triathlon Series was based out of Jarman Oval and it made for a great centre for the swim and run. Very open to the ocean being so close to the heads. Well done to whomever maintains this park.

I would suspect that this would be a very peaceful place but when i visited it was blowing a storm and i think that this made it an even more interesting place.
