I called Guitar Emporium about a second-hand guitar on their website, and Darren was very friendly and helpful over the phone. I purchased it online and Darren went above and beyond to get it to me in record time! Extremely happy with the awesome guitar and the fantastic service!

Darren is a legend! Went out of his way to answer my questions, Got the guitar packed and sent out really fast! This place sells the coolest guitars. Super happy with my Fender Jaguar.

I've recently bought a Rickenbacker 620 from here and have to say the service was excellent. I saw the guitar on the website and since I live in Sydney and I was stressing over getting down to see the guitar and then, if I liked it how to get it back with me.After speaking to Darren. He suggested I buy it on approval with the understanding that I could send it back for a refund if I didn't like it. The only cost to me would be the freight. I did that and he packed it up on Monday morning. It arrived mid Tuesday morning.The guitar was exactly as described and isn't going back! The freight costs were $60 for next morning delivery and because of Darren's careful packing arrived without any dramas.I visited the shop a week or so later to express my thanks for the service and have to say it's the coolest, if relatively unknown guitar shop in the country. They have a large selection of interesting instruments from the usual suspects to some way out rarities.My only criticism is that they have too many temptations hanging on the wall! Will be my first port of call next time I let myself off the leash.

I recently visited the Guitar Emporium in Melbourne and was thoroughly impressed by this store. Not only is there a fantastic range of guitars, amps and basses. Most of which are second hand and vintage. They include a number of incredible oddities which you may not be able to find anywhere else in Australia. Even better, the owner, Darren Garth, is a good bloke who is happy to let you look around, and even happier to sell you your next tone monster. Even better, once you make a purchase, Darren and his team will move quickly to make sure it is delivered safely. I can't wait to go back. Enjoy.

Just bought a super cool vintage Strat from Guitar emporium, Great experience! I usually play before I buy but this one really caught my eye and I was interstate. Darren's a nice guy and a good communicator. He described it to a T, arrived in 2 days and did not disappoint in any way. He even hunted around and sourced a better case option. Very good price, great guitar. Defiantly recommend Guitar Emporium. Dave
