SHINZEN DOJO

I've been fortunate enough to train in number of dojo's and gyms over the past 20 odd years, on 3 different continents. Shinzen Dojo, however, led by Sensei Dave, stands head and shoulders above them all. As you'd expect in a Kyokushin dojo the training is tough and delivered with high standards, however the breadth of experience coupled with the inclusive and encouraging atmosphere of the dojo members ensures everyone, new comer or seasoned practitioner, feel welcome and supported. Whether you are 6 years old or 60, your effort and contribution is recognised and absolutely supported by an amazing bunch of passionate instructors. Dojo is spacious, well-equipped and full of variety of classes.Instructors and people there are great.The Dojo has a real sense of community and I have made many friends there over the years.Everyone is really welcoming and supportive of new people.Would highly recommend to anyone interested in trying out martial arts or wanting a new avenue for fitness.

I've been training at Shinzen for a few years now. Sensei Dave has built a great crew of dedicated and well-rounded martial artists and runs his dojo to the highest standard. Shinzen has a solid variety of classes. Dave and all of his instructors are super legit with heaps of fight experience. Couldn't recommend highly enough.
