Very nice meals, everybody in our group of 9 was happy with the portion sizes and waiting times, is situated in a beautiful location, was picked by a local friend of our family because it has a excellent reputation I was told and bar no mash potato being available with meals instead of vegetables / salad, the meals were absolutely perfect.Table service to bring out meals wasn't offered but that's the case in most areas of Townsville compared to Melbourne I personally found but they gave me a beeper device to notify us when to go up and collect our meals which worked well.Oh, watch out for those dam scooter riders to, a young teenage girl ran into me on the footpath from behind as I was leaving but luckily I didn't get hurt. If it was a older member of our group though they would've needed urgent hospital treatment!!

I really enjoy a medium rare steak, except l ordered the chicken parm and the other half ordered the steak. Problem is it wasn't medium rare it was fkn blue rare. Lucky for me l ate the blue rare steak, not so lucky for the person who actually wanted a medium rare steak who had to eat chicken.

Sunday lunch was absolutely brilliant. Very nice meals at a great price, coupled with relaxing drinks, fantastic view and very talented solo artist whowasn't too loud that you could easily talk created a memorable atmosphere. Will be going back a lot more.

This place has an amazing layout by the water. Unfortunately the service was average. Ordered a beer and a snack. The Nori roll from the special has a questionable bland flavour and clearly just came out of the fridge and was sliced. Food only just started so I assume it’s from the day prior. Cold and gluggy

Great pub with a variety of areas, dog friendly out the front, good food which is very fairly priced, my regular lunch spot whilst in town for a steak ($16.90 for steak + chips + salad + gravy is a winner), good calamari too .

Wonderful view. Music playing and great weather. Great location overall.Today, I came with friends from interstate who were visiting Townsville for the first time. To say that the food was a letdown is an understatement.Food took forever to be ready not even the kid's meals. I went up to the counter to request for the kid's meal to be served as was told all the orders on the table had to come out at once.When the food eventually came. Some food was cold. Porterhouse Steak (supposedly well done) was thoroughly burnt and the medium-coked Wagyu beef Steak was overcooked. We complained to one of the male waiters, but his attitude was very dismissive.This is not my first time coming to Seaview, but this experience has given me second thoughts about the venue.

Enjoyed an amazing Porterhouse Steak cooked to perfection. Staff were very accommodating & helpful. Such a beautiful place right on the Strand.
