Enquired on a car, arranged a pre purchase inspection which they were aware of, then they sold the car without telling me until the guy doing the inspection rocked up! I am now $410 out of pocket for the inspection, when I contacted them asking them to pay the $410 they refused. NOT HAPPY! do not buy from here!

I have had competent and helpful sales and service at a reasonable price. Better than what can be experienced in other places. Simply put, I go back there because it works for me. That's saying something for a car dealership.

Great service and sales experience so far. Took my Final Edition R in for service today and the service dept really looked after me and my R. Now I’m just waiting on delivery of my ‘21 Amarok v6 to arrive hopefully sometime this month. Thanks Matthew and Nick.

My last service with them was horrific. Took the car for a service and check on a specific issue. Picked car up and told they didn't have time for my other issue and to come back another time. Organised my own transport again (they dont run courtesy bus anymore) and brought it back for the specific issue. Was called to collect car at 4. By 5, was told it was just coming up the driveway, by 6 was told thr service manager was outside furiously drying the car, left close to 7. Then was never contacted for my next service because they moved to a new 3rd party system and don't know if all their customer info made it across and clearly didn't care to check.Terrible overpriced services. Never coming back.

It should be 4 star as they hardly answer their phone and really difficult to contact with. Also I bought a Pathfinder from them that supposed to come with 120 points safety check but when I got home and parked on my driveway, I realized the handbrake doesn't work. It surely must be one of the safety points guys!BUT.... I was looking for such car everywhere for about 4 months and their price was the cheapest in entire Queensland! It was a very good deal and I am happy about it. Also the sale person, Matt, he was really genuine. He wasn't like other dealers that I met before, very genuine and honest and of course friendly. Fro example the car comes with a big bull bar and it obviously obstructs the front sensors, in this case others normally try to sell you the idea that it would work if this and that... but he was upfront said yes it doesn't work... despite that they are terrible in answering their phones, I am very very happy with the deal that I got and wish them all the best. Also I am hoping in future they put in place a policy like a three rings policy so they would answer their phone in a timely manner

I purchased a Mazda CX-5 through Boettcher Motors on 23/11/19. I travelled interstate from Cairns QLD to pick up my car. Before I flew down I dealt primarily with Patrick in finance & he was great to deal with, very informative & helpful with the money side of things. He took my needs into consideration & helped me find the best financing options in a short time frame. Regarding the car itself I dealt with Matt.The listing itself for the vehicle said nothing about any interior/exterior damages to to car but I still asked Matt multiple times over the phone the condition of the car since I couldn’t come inspect it quickly myself in person. His words were that he wanted to be ‘completely honest’ with me about the condition & that there were ‘a couple’ paint touch ups on the driver side front bar & a ‘small scratch on the driver door that could easily be touched up’. But apart from this the car was in mint condition & the interior was spotless. After I flew down & arrived at the car yard I was quick to see this was not the case at all... There was more than a ‘couple paint touch ups’ on the front bar, there were 6 along with other marks that looked like the car had hit something and the panel on the front bar pushed out again, the ‘small scratch’ on the drivers side door actually had a dint to accompany it, there were scratches on nearly every single panel of the car, paint touch ups on the passenger side front bar marks & paint touch ups on the driver side mirror (noticed after left yard as was parked in the shade) along with another dint in the boot with a scratch to match. I expressed my annoyance to Matt how he assured me what he said was the condition of the car but clearly there was much more damage to it. He then said he “apologises for the scratches on the car as he ‘couldn’t see them’ & was especially sorry for the dint in the boot as he ‘never opened the boot so he couldn’t have possibly seen that one’”You can clearly see from my pictures that you do not need to open the boot AT ALL to see the dint in it, nor any of the other scratches. They were all very obvious. I pointed this out to him how you could see them regardless and he did a complete 180 on his story and then said he did in fact see the dint and scratches but ‘forgot to tell me’. Are you serious?!! Why lie to my face and change your story a minute later when you get called out? This man can’t even keep up with his own lies.I expressed my disappointment and asked if there was anything that could be done as I was paying $29,886 for a car that is not in the condition I was told. All he could say was “well, it is a used car” and wouldn’t budge or do anything to compensate me for their faults. No Matt, you took advantage of the fact that I was a young buyer who was travelling interstate and relied on the fact that I wouldn’t want to walk away after paying a lot of money for flights to come collect the car and already placed a deposit on the vehicle. You straight up lied to my mothers and I face and changed your story when you got caught out in your own lies... It’s a shame because it ruins the image of all the other employees that acted nothing like this and creates the typical car salesman stereotype instead.I hate to leave a 1 star review because everyone else I dealt with was more than lovely. Patrick was awesome and explained everything in detail and didn’t leave out any nasty surprises, was kind and could probably see I was visibly upset. I also talked with Zac briefly on the day who was also very friendly and helpful. It’s a shame that one person can soil and damage the whole experience which should’ve been a great one, buying my first car, with his arrogant attitude and lack of decency. So this is my warning to people potentially looking to purchase a car through Boettcher Motors, especially interstate buyers, request that Matt is not your salesperson or simply don’t go here at all! Take your hard earned money and business to a place that you can actually trust.
