A walk back in time...this amazing workshop probably hasn't changed much in the last 25 years.Took some 1960s doors in the other day, and they gave me great advice about NOT stripping the doors -- apparently they're a type if timber that doesn't lend itself to the solvents, etc used in stripping paint back -- and instead gave me ways to do a DIY work-around.Go check out a bit of Brisbane history...and learn something while you're there.(Photos courtesy of their website, thestrippers.com.au ).

If you're looking for someone to make your life easier these are the people. Had some casement windows stripped, some glass replaced, windows reputtied and the whole lot primed. Easy to deal with and end result is perfection. Highly recommend.

This is the place to bring new life to your old casement windows. Very helpful hints for the home handyman as to how to paint the windows after they have been stripped.

They were able to bring life back into our 60 year old casement windows at a very reasonable price.The finished product is fantastic and they even went the extra mile to add fresh new glass and putty.Great end-product!

Just quite 'busy' and abrupt. Didn't end up getting the work done, ad they weren't interested in explaining anything. But they probably do a good job if it's straight forward.

We are renovating an old Queenslander in Central Queensland and had 23 100 year old windows that needed stripping. We found 'Chips' from the Strippers on an online forum about renovating Queenslanders and OMG the service is absolutely A1!Not only Chips did exactly what we wanted, but he went out of his way to find the glass, and even drop off the windows to my in laws as I ran out of time to pick them all up.Chips knows his job and customer service. If you need anything stripped he is the man to go to.

Very helpful and knowledgeable. The price to do the work I needed was excellent. Chip was happy to help at all times, to answer questions, and give guidance on other aspects of the window renovations I was undertaking.Would not hesitate to recommend.
