I was recommend this restaurant for dinner. To sum up the experience it was incredibly average. The phone service was good and the food was ready quick. However when tasting the food, there was some exceptionally unique flavours that I'm not sure really worked. The butter chicken had a tomato sauce sort of base. Overall it was incredibly average both on the food and the price point.

We ordered from here tonight getting a chicken korma and butter chicken and garlic and plain naans. The chicken korma was so discoloured (white/light yellow) compared to how you would get it from any other restaurant and was far too creamy/buttery so lacked the flavours that usually come from korma. The butter chicken again lacked a punch of flavour and was just very light and tangy. The naan was very thick and doughy, and definitely wasn’t made traditionally similar to other restaurants. The chicken in both curries also seemed to use breast which resulted in quite dry meat. Definitely would not order from here again.

Ordered via a delivery app, so I will excuse the temperature.However the butter chicken (bottom right of photo) tasting like pure ketchup? Inexcusable. I know butter chicken has tomatoes, but outright ketchup! Not even palatable.The korma was anaemic and tasteless (bottom left). Which was a blessing considering the aforementioned.The naan was obviously freezer food; stale, dense, and tasteless.I don't expect much from takeaway places, but this was beyond a joke.(The missing portions were on our plates and put straight into the bin before I thought to take a photo).

Have many fond memories of eating at this place growing up. Tried it again tonight and was sadly very disappointed. The meat was dry, and the sauces very bland. The butter chicken tasted like tomato sauce. The serving sizes are also very small. Would not order from here again

Both of our curries (korma and madras) tasted like cream of onion soup with some spices added. Unlike any Indian food I have ever tasted; very disappointing.

For over 10 years, Maharani Indian restaurant has been my go-to choice. The quality has never faltered, and I'm always impressed by the consistently delicious flavors. Not only do I enjoy it, but my wife loves it too! The friendly staff never fails to greet us warmly, adding to the overall welcoming atmosphere. This place is a culinary treasure that never disappoints. Thank you for a decade of outstanding service and flavorsome meals!

Was looking for a new Indian Restaurant to purchase my favourite Butter Chicken from since my all-time favourite store recently closed down.....this is the closest in flavour I could find, so no I have a back up. Just wish prices were a little lower or serving sizes larger

Dissapointed that the chicken and the Naan was not cooked traditionally in a tandoor. Naan tasted like a store bought flat bread. The Lamb Saag wasnt a typical style saag and had what tasted like a coconut base with loose blended peices of Spinach. Far away from any saag. Lamb was also dry. Very far from other Indian restaurants i have tried. In picture below was the Lamb Saag. No where near what sagg looks like and tastes like.

I ordered the chicken biryani and cheese naan, biryani was nice though the green capsicum was a bit much. Cheese naan wasn't horrible but not good either, very doughy and dry. Looks and tasted like something I'd buy at any grocery store.Overall I wasn't disappointed and enjoyed my meal, I would recommend the biryani to any who've read the several bad reviews on other menu items.
