I have been getting spare parts from Douge Smith for some years now and have always been impressed with their price, Excellent service and warranties. I have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone looking for appliance spare parts. I’d just like to thank Ben from the Gold Coast branch especially for the years of fine, prompt service.

I found the person who answered my call at this business to be extremely unhelpful and dismissive. I ordered a replacement shelf for my fridge recently and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The website was easy to navigate, I received a receipt within minutes of payment being made, order confirmation & tracking details were received super quick, even a text message sent to advise the item was out for delivery with an option if you weren’t home. I would recommend them to anyone, all round great job!

The worst customer service I have ever received.Poor communication , lied about delivery time to get my business, I had to follow them up so many times without responding and told me Australia post tracking details were wrong to justify their poor internal logistics.I would NEVER recommend dealing with them.

Not good. Ordered a part and was told I would be rung when it came in. Instead was sent a text from clicksms ? Not Doug Smith. Due to the amount of spam around , I ignored it. I rang to find out when it was available and was told it was ready to pick up. I asked the pick up address and was told it was in the text, so I asked again and was given the same answer ,so I asked again and was then given the address . I found the text and there was no pickup address in the text. Not a good experience.

I ordered a replacement filter for my air con from their website on 23/11. Got an e-mail the same day saying my payment was processed then heard nothing for 2 weeks. I phoned them to follow up on 6/12 & at first was told they couldn't find my order, despite me quoting the order number off my email. When they finally did find it in a different system, I was told the part was on back order (despite their website saying it was in stock) & they would have to check with the supplier & get back to me. They called me the next day (Thursday) & miraculously had my part & would ship it that day. I suspect the part was there the whole time & my order had just been sitting there unprocessed for 2 weeks. Today (Saturday) I get a text from Aus Post saying my package is coming today, yay. About an hour later I get a text from a stranger asking if I was expecting a package as he had it. DS Spares had addressed it to the wrong street number. USELESS!!! Thankfully the package had my phone number on it & the stranger who received it was honest. Otherwise it would have either been thrown out or gone back return to sender & I would have had a huge drama tracking it down as DSS would just say it was delivered, which it was but not to me. Not Aus Post fault as they delivered it to the address on the box. Will never order from here again. Can't even do a simple thing like address a package correctly. And yes I entered it right as it's correct on my order confirmation.

Very helpful staff. Shannon took the time to ring and sending me an email even if he was really busy. The part for my oven came quickly and I was able to pick it up from Burleigh's office within 2 days!!!.They even recommended a repairman!!! Very professional and highly recommended

Terrible absolutly terrible. Ordered a part on the 1st of may no tracking issued. Tried to phone no one answered the phone . Finally on the 2nd at about 16.00 got a reply to my Email via phone. Was told that the order cant be tracked. Phoned the next day was told that it could not be found. Promised to get back to me after the 12 .00 deliveries. Phoned at 14.00 after waiting about 15 minutes listening to their speel about how good they are continiously. Opted to use the option for them to phone me back .It is 16.00 and guess what no one has called me back oh what a surprise. All what i can say is avoid this crowd . They rave on about service what a joke. I have had better and quicker sevice from centrelink and we all know how slow they are.
