Charlestown Swim Centre

Its good and close. Very Disabled Friendly.The Only thing is it is a Public Pool and should not be closed off to the Public for any Reason. There should Always be Room for people to Excercise in.Schools do not need to take over a Whole swimming Complex.I still stand by this feedback.Went today 3rd Jan 2023.Went a fortnight ago they would not let us in I had a Carer with me. They Lied to us they said there was signs up everywhere there Wasn't. They said it was on the Website that it was closed to the public but it said it was open on Website.

Enjoyed home schoolers swimming carnival there. Staff helpful and friendly. Great pool. Everyone had a great time.

Nice pool area. Havnt been frequenting for that long so will edit if needed. Has been area for walking in 25mt pool on all occasions I have been. School carnivals can throw this out at times but it's not very often...February. it all depends on who is there and changes all the time. It is a Public pool and most public don't really care bout other people. Signs say no running ect ect ect. Life guards have not enforced ANY of these rules when I have been there but then why were the parents of these kids not educating their kids?? Overall it's great to use. Kids will be kids. When the parents start jumping in right next to people doing gentle exercise and walking OR trying to get their tiny kids or even babies water orientated...it really grinds my gears

Customer service is terrible. Tried multiple times to contact Charlestown swim centre to organise a birthday party, the phone is never answered or messages responded to.

The Olympic Pool was being used by school for a carnival but the 25m pool was available for swimming. This pool is heated anto steps for easy access. The pool is deep enough for all sorts of exercise.

Good water temp, not too crowded on a hot Saturday, they make swimming lanes available, regardless of crowd

This was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had at a public pool. Staff rude. No respect towards swimmers at all. Many encounters with rude members of the elderly community, who seemed to think the pool was solely for their use. One particular lady became aggressive and started verbally abusing me and surrounding swimmers. This experience left me hesitantto return and I hope no one else shares my experience as other times at this pool have been better.

Can't call them on the phone and revamped break up with make up for swimming lessons what the!? So inflexible.

Great pool, nice shade and amazing lifeguards. Only issue is carpark is fully open and means your hot car on a hot day is gonna be a cooker by the time you get back. Besides that it's awesome pool.

Nice swim centre with big change rooms. Two pools. We went here for PST course arranged by TAFE. The staff was friendly and a section of the pill was cordoned off for us for the life raft exercises. The cafe though a tad on the pricey end did have coffee and refreshments
