Magenta NAILS

The negative reviews I've just read surprised me and prompted me to add this one. I've had about 8 - 10 SNS sessions with the boys at Magenta after failing to find a quality (clean) nail salon on the peninsula. I have nothing but praise for their work. The shop is clean, the equipment they use is clean/sterilised or brand new. My nails have been shaped better and the length has been more consistent than any other nail place has succeeded in doing. The thickness is enough but not too much. Some of my nails are naturally crooked and the boys have always managed to make them look straight. I am 100% satisfied.All nail salons over book and also take too many walk-ins because so many people fail to show up for appointments. I've found the solution to this is to book for the first appointment or last appointment in the day. I don't think there's an easy solution to this. Having said that, I've never had to wait more than about 5 minutes beyond my appointment times.

Been here a number of times and always had a great experience. Most recent visit I had a manicure, pedicure, shellac and eyebrow wax, got in straight away and was done in just over an hour. Really happy with my nails and eyebrows, thank you!

What a terrible experience. Multiple people booked for the same time. I had never been before. I was told to pick a colour so I did. The signposted price was $38 & I was charged $48 because I chose a colour. Considering I had never been before & that is what a pedicure is all about, I don't see why the extra charge. There was no cutting of toenails, no filing of dried skin, no leg or foot massage. A waste of money. I won't be going back or recommending to anyone to go there for any reason.

I would highly advise not to use this nail salon. It is the worst I have gone to. I am new to area and on first visit nail actually came off this has never happened before. Thought I'd give another chance and 2 nails have chipped badly, supposed to be shalac. Don't go here

I did SNS nails for the first time. 3 of my nails broke within the first week and 2 more nails broke on week 2. I asked the person who did my nails to do a thick layer and he didn’t listen. Never happened to me before that so many nails broke so quick.

Terrific! Perfect shaping, blending and communication. I always get my nails done at the same place at home and it’s stressful being interstate and needing to find someone who will also do a professional job with shaping, excess removal, and also who isn’t rude or treating you like a number.Tony and his staff were kind, considerate, communicated openly and smiled! Very happy with my infills and the selection of high quality colours.Highly recommended, took just on an hour to arrive, wait and finish.

I've been here 3 times and the first couple of experiences I got stuck with a 'moody lady' who couldn't even bother to smile or try to speak with me. The last time I booked on Friday for Saturday turned up and they knew nothing about the booking???...probably a good thing really as the man (Tony?) was nice but the lady who did my manicure/pedicure was not giving me any 'pampering experience' I'd paid full price no senior discount extended but think I'll do my own if this is the best around.

Such a lovly nail salon with fantastic staff, always so polite and a pleasure, there SNS and shellac always lasts for weeks, best nail salon on the peninsula
