Western Tiers Distillery

My husband and I visited on the 7th February. The service was fantastic as was the tasting and explanation. The staff were friendly, attentive and so very helpful. We loved the cocktail and the cheesecake trio. We bought a bottle of coffee liqueur and a bottle of Breonia's flavoured gin. Yum. Thankyou for a great experience. We will be back.

We had such a wonderful day at the Distillery. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a friendly smile and introduction to the place. We enjoyed a Gin flight and purchased a bottle after deciding on our favourite one. All the food, from Oysters and aranchini to start with to our main meals and desserts were all so tasty! Thankyou so much - we cannot wait to visit again!

My first visit and hard to state how I felt. Service amazing, cannot debate that.Menu a bit limited but I understand it is registered as a Café and not a Restaurant.I started with a Mandarin Cocktail and it was indeed a pleasure.Entrée of Beef and Barley Soup" was at first taste

My parents, Fiance and I went on Saturday for my mothers birthday. We had lunch, then a gin tour and tasting. The service was excellent, our tour guide was amazing and made the experience very fun and enjoyable. Our food was absolutely stunning, I even tried my first ever scallop. The gin is stunning, my fiance who is not a gin drinker loves the Sloe Gin. I would highly recommend for an delicious lunch and an informative afternoon. It highlights all the things that make Tasmania special, good food, good alcohol, good people.

A nice space, although quite noisy with the 20 or so people lunching at the same time as our table.The waitress was pleasant and the meals arrived just within an acceptable time frame after placing our orders.My salmon croquettes were attractively presented but would have been more accurately listed as potato croquettes; the salmon content was very small. At $27 per serve of 3 smallish portions, I thought they were not particularly good value.Not bad but also not somewhere I would rush back to.

Brilliant range of Tasmanian spirits. Worth a visit for a tasting. Meals are excellent, service excellent. Very nice cocktails. Distillery tours including making your own gin!

We were lucky enough to receive a bottle of the Quamby Bluff Sloe Gin late last year. It was hands down the best sloe gin we have had the pleasure of partaking in (and, we've tried a few!). Whether straight over ice, or with a great tonic, this gin is the absolute bomb!!!!

Food portions a bit small. Have given 5 stars, because it’s an amazing place and the staff are excellent. However we found the food although delicious was very small portions. Not really good value for money and we left hungry. I really can’t understand why they try to penny pinch on the food, when it’s probably the lowest expense in a business like this, and risk getting bad reviews. I’m guessing it’s all about ordering more and more courses. I really hope they can up the portion size a bit.
