One of the best sunset I’ve ever witnessed on the hills!Note for drivers: Thunderbolts Way requires attentive driving specially in mountains.

Very nice spot to visit while in Tamworth. Spectacular view of the entire Tamworth basin. Forget walking or riding the bike up. Way too tight with cars.

We came across this lookout point on our way to barrington tops campground. Stunning views. Definitely stop by. It was quite foggy when we went though, would be much better with clear skies.

Sitting on top of a mountain, at a picnic setting in the shade on a hot day with a great view and a tuna with tomato and onion with tomato and onion sandwich on wholemeal and phone service so you can ring your brother on his birthday even if he doesn't answer! I'd highly recommend the tuna and onion sanga with this view cause they're both awesome. P.S it's got a loo too

Scenic rest stop on thunderbolt way. Has table and chairs with a drop toilet. Views over the valley are beautiful on a pleasant day.

We drove past on the way to Toowoomba in the New England Highway. Toilet was disgusting, but I guess a normal drop toilet. Nice view though.

Pioneer Lookout
A great stop on the way to Armidale from Newcastle. The view is stunning. It is a rest area which allow travelers to take a break after driving or riding. It has a toilet as well.
