Wantirna Veterinary Clinic

I cannot speak highly enough of this wonderful veterinary clinic! Everyone is just so kind and caring, from the first point of contact at reception...to the vets and vet nurses. They are beyond incredible. As you can imagine, having a senior 9yo shepherd, who is the love of my life, I was distraught over a bleeding tumour she had in her neck. Shepherds are notorious for being prone to everything nasty, especially at an older age. They were just so kind and caring, and went through every part of the process with me, explaining everything to me and the options and their recommendations. They were extremely thorough, and I felt extremely comfortable with everything that was being done for the most precious thing to me...my Georgie Girl. She did require surgery to remove the tumor, and as there were suspicious cells, they have sent them off to pathology for testing. But the post op information was excellent and where we go from here. And even if the cells were nasty, they explained we got it all out so a really good outcome. I need to say to a very special thank you to Dr Dave who was the vet who saw me for my initial consult who was just so lovely and especially to my dog. I've had vets in the past not so sweet when they saw she was a shepherd. Dr Dave's kindness towards clients and their dogs is just lovely. Also to Alison Brown who did the surgery and amazes me with the time and care she takes with every patient. She really cres so much...so refreshing! When you have to have your dog go through surgery...she is definitely the one you want doing it! And to Emma and Christine, the vet nurses who took great care of her and even took a photo of my Georgie with her teddy for me in recovery. I just can;t thank you all so much....plus Kristie and Heather on reception. Just thank you sooo much for caring so beautifully for my girl <3 - Ange

I had only just recently found this clinic before my gorgeous Collie Ellie needed to go to doggie Heaven, but I was so happy they could be there for her and us. Everyone is just so lovely, we never felt rushed and I would highly recommend them if you are looking for somewhere to go. Thanks to all the staff for your caring and devotion.

Finally found the best vet clinic for my senior cat Nini after numerous disappointing experience with other vets. What a caring and professional team! Special thanks to Dr Alison and Martina who treated my cat, they are patient, compassionate, methodical and highly capable. I got a call from Dr Alison around 9pm last night explaining full details of a testing result for my cat, such a big relief for me after weeks of taking my baby" to various clinics without a proper answer. Would highly recommend Wantirna Vet Clinic

Exceptional service from all the staff, especially Vet Alison whose care has transformed my arthritic bulldog into an energetic dog!! I can't thank you enough, I would highly recommend the Vet practice...10/10

Highly recommend the Wantirna vet clinic.All the staff at Wantirna Vet clinic were fantastic . From the friendly greeting in reception to the care and attention of our vet nurse Rosie and Dr Ashley it was a relaxed professional visit with no stress for me or my furbaby!

They are ok, I find both times I’ve used them they have treated my cat and said “come back in Two weeks” so you need to spend more money with them. Whereas the other local vet will give you a treatment plan moving forward and only tell you to go back if the plan doesn’t work. It’s a bit disheartening, in order to to know how to treat my cat moving forward I need to spend ANOTHER $180 when we could have talked about this Two weeks ago!

Took my dog to Alison Brown first visit, she seemed very knowledgeable and friendly. I held her in high regard and the treatment went ok.Later on, I had to take my dog back there for a different cut on his paw 1 inch long. I saw Martina Saied. She said that he needed surgery. I adamantly said that there was no way I could afford that, which was the case. I didn't say it nastily or undermine her advice in any way. Just questioned her if there was another way for it to heal.My dogs paw got cleaned, bandaged and took antibiotics.When the antibiotics ran out, I went back there for them to take the bandage off and assess it.I saw Alison this time. Well, she had the polar opposite attitude she did the first time I met her. She was negative andundermining toward me. I realized later, by the things she was saying, e.g. quote Martina was absolutely right in saying my dog needed surgery". That Martina must have utterly rubbished me to the hilt

From the moment I rang until I left the clinic after I had to put my beloved 18 yo Prince; Gizmo Brown to sleep, all staffs and nurses are so friendly, passionate and caring. I just want to say a big Thank You for the assistance and caring all of you have provided me during my difficult time. THANK YOU…
